- Writer
Ryan Thomas Collins is a writer and comedian based out of Los Angeles (originally from Seattle). He is funny; thoughtful; witty; and his Mom thinks he's handsome. He has been featured on "Mo' Funny Mondays" and has performed at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory and the Hollywood Improv. Ryan has also performed stand-up in other states as well as throughout the U.K. and Ireland. He has written various popular online shorts with working actors who had no business slumming it with the likes of him.
Prior to comedy and writing, Ryan worked in politics. He ran various political campaigns, culminating in working for two US Senators in DC. He needed to excel in creating relationships quickly with people whom were very different from himself, as part of his responsibilities included conducting "town hall" style conversations with various constituents. He is comfortable and experienced with steering a conversation and asking questions to go deeper into meaning... And dick jokes. He is best remembered from this time for helping write the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and starting a beer pong tournament on Chuck Schumer's desk. Ryan also wrote various political speeches that were delivered on the Senate floor and the campaign trail.
