For many years played a supporting role to the comedian, Russ Abbot.
In the early 1980s, he forged a comedic partnership with fellow impressionist, Les Dennis, and the newly-established act appeared on numerous television variety programmes, including the ITV show Live from Her Majesty's (1982).
In 1984, he received star billing in his own Saturday night
entertainment series, The Laughter Show (1984).
Died following a massive heart attack, while appearing in the
pantomime, Cinderella, with his co-star, Les Dennis.
