Daniel Jeffrey May
- Actor
Daniel Jeffrey May was born in Buffalo, New York to Christina, a stay-at-home mother and seamstress, and Jeffrey May, a mechanic. He is the youngest brother of two.
Daniel began singing around the age of four and began acting at the age of nine when he was cast as a mini-munchkin in his high school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Daniel had found his passion and knew he wanted to pursue acting as a career by the time he was twelve. He joined his school's choir in the third grade and continued participating in choir through his senior year, where he was apart of both the Senior High Choir and Concert Choir, a group you must audition for. By the time Daniel graduated from Starpoint High School in June of 2018, he had participated in two short-form plays and nine musicals including Disney's Beauty and the Beast as Cogsworth and Disney's Mary Poppins as the Park Keeper.
Daniel had won two awards for his performances in high school: The George Abbott Director's Choice Award for his performance as Cogsworth his junior year and the Niagara Police Athletic League Theatre Arts Award his senior year for his dedication to the performing arts throughout his school career.
Daniel was accepted into the New York Film Academy to major in Acting in Film in May of 2018. Although he was accepted into NYFA, he didn't attend due to the high costs of tuition.
