In 2007, Sean starred in two feature films. He played "Jake", a homosexual celebrity photographer in Surveillance 24/7 (2007) 24/7. The film was played as an official selection of the Berlin Film Festival. The film stylishly tackles relevant taboo subjects across different classes of British society. Sean next starred as hell-raiser and beat poet muse, "Neal Cassady", in the full-length feature, A West Texas Children's Story (2007) (aka "West Texas Lullaby"), with Val Kilmer. Later that year, he starred as "Cpl. Daniel Redman" in the HBO miniseries, Generation Kill (2008), from the creator of The Wire (2002). The show won 3 of the 11 Emmys for which it was nominated, including outstanding miniseries. The emotional arc of Sean's characters would bow in the short film, My Horizon (2009), with Nick Nolte, where he played a troubled son who eventually dies of an overdose. Sean wrapped the sci-fi action film, Alien Uprising (2012) in 2011. In it, Sean stars as an anti-hero leading a group of friends to safety in an apocalyptic world. The film is set for a theatrical release in 2013.
