Ali Al Lawati

Ali Al Lawati is an Omani-Canadian writer. He works in the Early Childhood Education field by day and as the Head of Screenwriting at AscenXion Pictures by night. Ali is an innate storyteller that has been creating stories since the age of ten, incorporating in them the hybrid life he's led with laughter and love.
Ali writes as A. Lawati as his literary works have appeared in reputed magazines, blogs and newspapers. In 2012, he was commissioned to develop a financial literacy story for The Pace Credit Union Bank, Toronto. Ali has studied History & Music at California State University.
With three books under his belt, the first about a monkey, inspired by his own pet Macaca he had as a kid. "The Greatest Race" is his first internationally published children's novel. He is presently writing a middle-grade novel along with screenwriting several stories that are designed to elevate children to be educated entertainingly. When he is not writing, Ali teaches creative business communication. His global readers are excited to watch "The Greatest Race" movie in theaters!
