- He met the writer and photographer Emily Rath in a restaurant. After postponing their wedding twice due to covid, they eloped in 2020. They still plan on getting married in front of guests at a formal wedding in the future.
- Reunited with Curt Smith after over 11 years apart. They are due to release "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending" as Tears for Fears on 14 Sept 2004 with Universal. Just completed a radio tour in the USA and will be touring in October 2004. (July 2004)
