It’s been almost a decade since J. Cole rapped “Dick so big, it’s like a foot is in your mouth” on Jeremih’s “Planez.” Now, on Cash Cobain’s “Grippy,” he’s back with another horny feature for a new generation of fans (and, inevitably, haters).
It’s a playful release for Cole, who was, for a moment, caught in the middle of this spring’s tense rap war between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. A representative of Cash tells Rolling Stone that Cole recorded his verse towards the end of April,...

Vince Staples has released his new album, Dark Times, via Def Jam Recordings.
Dark Times contains 13 tracks and was recorded over seven months in North Hollywood. In an Instagram post, Staples revealed the album is his final release on Def Jam.
“Eleven years ago, a young, uncertain version of myself was given an opportunity with Def Jam Recordings,” he wrote. “I released my first project under their banner, Shyne Coldchain Vol 2, a year later. I was unsure of what to expect from the world of music but deeply aware of what I needed: a change in my surroundings and a clear understanding of self. Ten years and seven projects later, I’ve found that clarity.”
In a separate statement about the album cover, which features a faintly seen noose, Staples explained, “I’m Black, and that’s what we’re evading. We all have our things that could kill us.

Paul Feig was just a couple of days away from wrapping the sequel to “A Simple Favor” in Italy when he got to share some very good news with the cast – the first film is currently the No. 1 most watched movie on Netflix.
“I sent it to all my main cast saying, ‘Hey, we’re doing the right thing here,” Feig says on a phone call from the movie’s Rome set.
Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick and Henry Golding reprise their original roles for the followup. New cast members include Tony winner Alex Newell and Oscar winner and frequent Feig collaborator Allison Janney.
The 2018 movie stars Kendrick as widowed vlogger Stephanie who takes it upon herself to investigate the disappearance of her friend Emily (Lively). The $20 million crime comedy grossed nearly $100,000,000 in the U.S.
“I’m thrilled,” Feig says about being on the top of the Netflix movies chart.

One of the biggest and most sensational developments in modern hip-hop came in the form of the recent Kendrick Lamar-Drake feud. The two rap giants have moved ahead in a tussle, with several diss tracks being fired from both sides. Additionally, it has also involved other rappers such as the likes of Ye, Metro Boomin, and The Weeknd, calling them to choose their team. Now, in an interesting development, the latest pair to get involved in this mix is the father-son duo of Tom Hanks and Chet Hanks.
Tom Hanks in a scene from Forrest Gump | Paramount Pictures
The duo’s conversation made its way to social media and has several fans rolling in hysteria and amazement. A detailed explanation from the son to the acclaimed actor, who still appeared clueless, had the Internet in splits. Regardless, the summary still highlighted the intensity of the feud and its knocking on the Hanks’ doors.

Are we on the verge of a Livelaissance? Four years after her last live-action movie role, Blake Lively is returning to the big screen this year with "It Ends With Us." The film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's best-selling toxic relationship novel made waves this past week with the arrival of its trailer, which even came fitted with an appropriately bleary-eyed tune by Lively's buddy Taylor Swift. It's also a reminder of just how well Livelites (which is what I'm calling Lively fans until I come up with a better name) were eating in the 2010s.

When USC professor and hip-hop scholar Todd Boyd remembers hearing Tupac Shakur’s scathing diss track “Hit ‘Em Up,” he knew one thing: “This is not going to end well.”
The West Coast anthem was released in June 1996 and Shakur viciously took aim at his East Coast rivals, including the Notorious B.I.G. with claims — through strikingly chosen words — that he slept with Biggie’s wife, R&b singer Faith Evans.
The rap war escalated to new heights, and three months later Shakur was shot to death in Las Vegas, with some wondering (though apparently incorrectly) whether the beef had anything to with it. And a few months after that, Biggie was shot dead in Los Angeles though his killer never apprehended.
Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s current rap beef has Boyd reflecting on the past.

Not Like Us is making all the way up on Billboard as it continues to outpace its competition as the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar escalates. It is likely that Lamar’s diss track will make it to the top, the only problem remains: which one? Writers of the popular American entertainment magazine have the same question.
The diss track aimed at the Canadian rapper also shattered one of the records on Spotify. The song dethroned Girls Wants Girls, which had the most hip-hop song streams in a single day. As of now, the track holds over 28 million views on video sharing platform YouTube.

At his “Seth Rogen Smokes the Bowl” show on Tuesday night, Rogen transformed the Hollywood Bowl into a stoner’s paradise.
The music and comedy show, which was part of the Netflix is a Joke festival, featured a star-studded lineup of performances from Snoop Dogg, Post Malone, Lil Dicky, Bill Burr, Ramy Youssef, Ronny Chieng and Abbott Elementary‘s Janelle James. The event benefited his and wife Lauren Miller’s non-profit Hilarity For Charity, which advocates for individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.
Rogen kicked off the night by lighting a giant bong that was planted on the Bowl stage, channeling an Olympic opening ceremony as the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra played alongside him. Lil Dicky sang the national anthem (as well as a few of his hits), as Rogen returned to tell the orchestra, “I can’t imagine as you were practicing your entire lives to be amazing...

Questlove has called out Kendrick Lamar and Drake for stooping down to “mudslinging” in their ongoing beef.
In an Instagram post with the caption, “Here We Are Now… Entertain us,” the Roots drummer slammed the rappers for digging up each other’s dirtiest secrets and making salacious allegations that dragged family members into their feud.
“Nobody won the war,” Questlove wrote. “This wasn’t about skill. This was a wrestling match level mudslinging and takedown by any means necessary — women & children (& actual facts) be damned.”
He continued by criticizing rap fans for feeding into the beef: “Same audience wanting blood will soon put up ‘rip’ posts like they weren’t part of the problem. Hip Hop is truly dead.”

Bringing a couple whose chemistry clicks on the screen is not an easy task. A proper storyline, well-developed characters, an ideal location, and perfect timing are all necessary. Rachel and Joey’s relationship on Friends lacked all of these. Well, the NBC series always had wonderful backstories, and the couples we saw on the show—Ross and Rachel, Monica and Chandler, Phoebe and Mike, for example—all made sense. Still, it was impossible to swallow the pill of Rachel and Joey being together.
Throughout its ten seasons, Friends had a lot of romantic moments. But in terms of other couples, the back-and-forth dynamic between Joey and Rachel won out in terms of the ‘will-they or won’t-they relationship’. Having said that, while there were many memorable moments in Friends Season 5, one that sticks out as especially epic is the game of ‘this or that’.

Kim Kardashian was one of the many celebrities in attendance at The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady event, which was streamed on Netflix. Kevin Hart hosted the event and saw a rich attendance of many A-listers such as Will Farrell, Ben Affleck, Jeff Ross, Nikki Glaser, Tony Hinchcliffe, Sam Jay, and many others.

Hinchcliffe was one of the standouts of the whole evening as he went on to make fun of Glaser, Jay, and Ross. However, his riff on Kardashian was on a whole other level. Hinchcliffe ridiculed her long dating history with his wacky one-liners, which left Kardashian nodding her head (in shame).

Netflix’s live special of The Roast of Tom Brady was expected to hit off with a blast, and so it did. However, things didn’t exactly go as planned or as anticipated, as the audience realized a few minutes into the episode. This was because the millions of viewers who were airing it live were met with a whole new round of discomfort due to a joke Jeff Ross made.

Why? Well, to put it simply, the joke that the 58-year-old comedian cum actor made was a bit inappropriate in itself due to previous controversies surrounding Brady because of it. But what made it even worse was the former NFL quarterback’s reaction to it. And ever since, netizens have been sharing the most hilarious reactions to this awkward live situation.

Drake responded quickly to Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us,” dropping “The Heart Part 6” on Sunday, a day after Lamar’s latest diss, which accuses Drake of being a “certified pedophile.” He also shut down that he had a secret daughter, which Lamar alludes to in Friday’s barb “Meet the Grahams.” That track was a quick-hit response to Drake’s “Family Matters,” also from Friday, which alleges infidelity in Lamar’s relationship.

Drake has returned fire at Kendrick Lamar with the Sunday night drop of a new diss track called “The Heart Part 6.” The song’s title is a reference to Lamar’s own single series of the same name.
The track mostly finds Drake on the defensive, as he disputes allegations made by Lamar that he has a secret daughter, is on Ozempic, and has sexual relations with underage girls. As Drake tells it, he intentionally fed Lamar’s camp false information and they fell for it.
“We plotted for a week and then we fed you the information/ A daughter that’s 11 years old, I bet he takes it/ We thought about giving a fake name or a destination/ But you so thirsty, you not concerned with investigation,” Drake raps.
Drake also claims, without evidence, that Lamar was molested as a child: “This when your father leave you home alone...

Kendrick Lamar and Drake‘s feud is escalating rapidly.
The 36-year-old rapper called the 37-year-old Canadian superstar a “pedophile” in a new diss track called “Not Like Us,” released less than 24 hours after his headline-making “Meet The Grahams.”
The cover art shows Drake‘s home with sex offender beacons.
“Why you trollin’ like a bitch? Ain’t you tired? / Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A-Minor,” he raps in the song, accusing Drake of liking his women young. “Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles.”
He released “Meet The Grahams” earlier in the weekend, warning Lebron James and Steph Curry to keep their families away from Drake because he’s a “pervert.” He also accuses Drake of having a secret daughter: “You lied about your son, you lied about your daughter, huh.”
A source close to Drake tells TMZ that the allegation about a secret child is an “utter fabrication.

As Drake and Kendrick Lamar continue to exchange diss tracks at an impressive rate, you might be wondering what exactly started this heated feud.

Dua Lipa is schooling Saturday Night Live on the bad blood between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
During a local news segment sketch, the “Dance The Night Away” singer appeared as a culture critic Wanda Weems to catch audiences up to speed on all the jabs the two rappers have taken at each other in diss tracks over the past few days.
But, as it turns out, Good Morning Greenville‘s culture reporter isn’t quite so tapped in.
“One clue on the song ‘Euphoria,’ when Kendrick describes Drake as Canadian, that’s because Drake is from Toronto,” she says, stating an obvious fact about the “Hotline Bling” rapper.
She continues, “And he calls Drake ‘Crodie,’ which is a term used by the Crips, which according to Wikipedia is an alliance of street gangs based in Southern California.”

The Drake-Kendrick Lamar feud has escalated this year as the two rappers went back and forth replying and one-upping each other’s diss tracks. Things have never been the same since the duo collaborated on Drake’s 2011 album Take Care, and ever since Lamar threw shade at Drake in Big Sean’s Control, the two have been feuding over the years.
Before their feud, Kendrick Lamar was a part of Drake’s 2011 album Take Care
Things intensified this year as both have now committed to destroying each other’s reputations and careers with the release of their diss tracks simultaneously. With Lamar’s Euphoria and 6:16 in LA going on a full rant mode on Drake’s activities and career, the Toronto rapper has hit back with a more personal attack in his new diss track, questioning the parentage of Lamar’s children.

Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s decade-long feud continued to gain steam this week after the former released the newest diss titled “6:16 In LA,” which also sampled Al Green’s 1972 classic, “What a Wonderful Thing Love Is.” While sampling other artists’ music doesn’t raise eyebrows, Lamar using Green’s 1972 classic in his track has led fans to unearth the soul singer’s connection to Drake’s family.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar are two of the most popular and commended rappers in the music industry, and yet, they are also two of the most controversial ones. Thanks to their long-ongoing feud and rocky relationship that just doesn’t seem to want to repair at any cost, the two have been under the spotlight every now and then through their diss tracks for each other.

Eiichiro Oda has always been one for foreshadowing with some of the most subtle details possible. One Piece being as long as it is, the foreshadowing is almost endless, taking fans back hundreds of episodes and chapters behind to discover how the mangaka gave away major details without paying any attention. While he is not the first to do so, the attention to detail brings about a certain sense of thrill when discovering how easily such things get missed.

Kendrick Lamar has dropped a new Drake diss track, “6:16 in LA,” just days after heating up their feud with “euphoria.” Stream it below.
The title of “6:16 in LA” likely refers to Father’s Day, which falls on June 16th this year, digging back into one of Drake’s sore spots of being exposed as an allegedly absentee father. At the same time, Kendrick describes being a father to his own kids with the lyrics, “Put my children to sleep, with a prayer, then close my eyes, definition of peace.”
Adding another layer, Variety has confirmed Taylor Swift’s frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff co-produced the diss track, winking at Drake’s name-drop of the pop star on previous diss track “Push Ups.”
On the track, Kendrick preys further on Drake’s insecurities, claiming his team isn’t loyal. “Have you ever thought that Ovo was workin’ for me?” Kendrick raps.

A hater’s well never runs dry, and Kendrick Lamar’s is overflowing. The rapper started this week off by letting Drake know just how much he hates him on the single “Euphoria,” released without warning on Tuesday morning. Drake knew the response was coming — in fact, he released two back-to-back singles urging Lamar to get in the booth. “Euphoria,” as it turns out, was only the beginning. On Friday morning, the rapper came back for more with another surprise release, “6:16 in LA.”

Kendrick Lamar’s Euphoria took the feud between Lamar and Drake to the next level. The six-minute diss track launches an attack on Drake’s music career, personal life, and biracial identity. It was in response to the American rapper’s earlier released song Push Ups, in which the One Dance singer mocks Lamar’s physical appearance and the quality of his songs. Interestingly, years before the current feud, Lamar and Drake had a friendly working relationship.

There are a few lines of thought surrounding the ongoing Drake v. the World rap feud that have become accepted as all but sacred facts. For one, all of this is supposedly fun. Spotify, the multi-billion-dollar business that reported a quarterly profit last week — in part, thanks to laying off 17 percent of its staff ahead of the holidays last year— rented out billboards in Times Square declaring that rap is a “competitive sport.” This was presumably their comment on the months-long saga that began with the release of Future and...

One of the major themes of Kendrick Lamar’s new Drake diss “euphoria” is the accusation that his rap foe is a “scam artist” and “a master manipulator and habitual liar too.” As it turns out, the seemingly jumbled audio in the intro lays the groundwork by sampling dialogue from the 1978 film The Wiz.
Shortly after the song’s release on Tuesday, multiple fans clipped the brief sample and played the line backward, revealing it to be dialogue from the movie in which The Wiz (played by Richard Pryor) says, “Everything they say about me is true.” Scroll down for the reversed audio below.
For full context, Pryor’s line is taken from a scene in which his character is exposed to be Herman Smith, a washed-up politician from Atlantic City. Admitting to the deception, he says, “Everything they say about me is true. I’m a phony.”

I’ve spent the past month theorizing that the root of Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s dysfunction is how philosophically different they seem to be. Their actions speak loudly for two sects of hip-hop in antithetical opposition. While Drake’s three weeks of post-“Push Ups” digital mischief entertained his fanbase and, for some, upped the pressure on Kendrick, the West Coast rhymer’s fans put on an unbothered front, surmising that Drake was anxiously awaiting a potent clapback. Kendrick Lamar has hit back at Drake with “euphoria,” his response to the latter rapper’s recent diss tracks “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Stream it below.
Broken up into three parts, “euphoria” begins with a laidback beat in which a relaxed Kendrick calls out Drake for being fake and “a scam artist with the hopes of being accepted.”

Pointedly, he continues, “Know you a master manipulator, and a bitch, you a liar too/ But don’t tell no lie ’bout me, and I won’t tell truths ’bout you.

Few rivalries in rap music are as intense as Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s. Along with sharing appearances on each other’s albums, the two have also shown respect for one another in interviews. However, the very things that have united them have also caused them to drift apart.
A controversy erupted when Drake made a derogatory remark about Lamar and his song, Control, back in 2013. The song was eventually pulled from the album due to sample clearance issues, and many rappers responded to it right away—just not the one Lamar seemed to want to hear from most.
Drake asked, “Kendrick is giving people moments, but are you listening to it now?” in reference to the now-famous verse of Big Sean’s song Control.
