Wendy Tannock produced her first short film, Still Harlem, in 2018.
She followed with her short film, Compassionate Release which won the Chelsea Film Festival Best Short Script and Audience Award. She also won the Twin Cities Black Film Festival, Best Short Award, for her short film It's Alright, Dad.
Tannock produced her first feature documentary, Neutralize, in 2021. She is
working on a narrative feature film, in Summerton, South Carolina.
Wendy was born in the island of Bermuda and is a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She gained an early interest in writing and photography from her father, one of the first black Senior cameramen in Bermuda, which led to her success in filmmaking.
