- Erik Wiese is an Emmy and Annie-nominated Writer, Director, and Storyboard Artist who works in both feature and television animation. He recently directed a Peanuts special for Apple+. Immediately prior, Erik was an Executive Producer, Writer, and Director on Sonic Prime for Netflix. Previously, he was a Director at Illumination Entertainment, directing several Minions shorts and commercials. Erik began his career working as a Supervising Animator on the animated video for Bjork's "I Miss You." He then began working with Stephen Hillenburg on character development for the SpongeBob pilot and stayed with the show for several seasons as a Storyboard Artist / Writer. He was also Head of Story on the Spongebob feature Spongebob: Sponge Out of Water. His other TV work includes co-creating, directing, and executive producing two seasons of Nickelodeon's The Mighty B!, a cartoon starring Amy Poehler.
