Amanda is a versatile genre writer who enjoys creating both original stories and those for other IPs.
She studied Film & Television/Creative Writing at Murdoch University (Australia), earning a BA in Communication Studies. Amanda has worked in TV writer rooms (Australia), was selected for the First Break WA (2022) and MIFF Post, Script and Direct (2023) programs, and has been a finalist in the AACTA Regional Landscapes in Partnership with Screenworks Pitch (2020) and the Universal AU/Screenwest Fast Pitch competition (2019).
Amanda is also a published author of both original and Media Tie-in fiction. She is a two-time Scribe Award winner (International Association of Media Tie-In Writers) and an Aurealis and Ditmar finalist (Australian speculative fiction awards). Her original novels include the sci-fi crime thriller Salvation series, which is being developed for TV by Anonymous Content and Aquarius Films. Her Media Tie-in fiction includes that written for Marvel (X-Men), Black Library (Warhammer 40k), and Z-Man Games (Pandemic).
