Over the course of a directing career that has lasted almost forty years so far, Dwight H. Little has brought us some very cool movies, with his credits including The Phantom of the Opera (starring Robert Englund), the Steven Seagal vehicle Marked for Death, Rapid Fire (starring Brandon Lee), Free Willy 2, the Wesley Snipes mystery Murder at 1600, Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid, Tekken, and my favorite of the Halloween sequels, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. He has also directed a whole lot of television, taking the helm of episodes of shows like Freddy’s Nightmares, Millennium, The X-Files, The Practice, 24, Prison Break, Castle, Nikita, Arrow, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sleepy Hollow, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Bones, Scorpion, and 9-1-1. Now he has written a memoir called Still Rolling: Inside the Hollywood Dream Factory – and copies can be purchased at This Link!

The third season of "Star Trek: Picard" was full of Easter eggs and good old-fashioned nostalgia, but it turns out that one Easter egg might actually be a hint at things to come.
In season 3, episode 6 of "Picard" (which is titled "The Bounty"), Worf (Michael Dorn), Raffi (Michelle Hurd), and Riker (Jonathan Frakes) break into Daystrom Institute's underground warehouse to try and retrieve what remains of Data (Brent Spiner). While they're there, they see a few interesting items taken by Starfleet Intelligence, including an attack tribble and the body of one James Tiberius Kirk. We don't actually get to see Kirk, of course, just his X-ray and some basic information about him. Still, it's pretty wild to know that Starfleet went and got his body off of Veridian III (where we last saw him at the end of "Star Trek Generations").
The role of Kirk was, of course, originally played...

The poster for the original 1992 film White Men Can’t Jump featured a photo of its two stars, identified merely as “Wesley” and “Woody.” They were, of course, Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson, whose charismatic screen personas were already so well-defined that no further explanation was necessary.
That’s not exactly the case with this ill-advised remake, which comes across as an uninspired retread that lacks its own reason for being other than its appeal to baby boomer nostalgia. And no disrespect to the talents of the new film’s leads, but “Sinqua and Jack” just doesn’t have the same ring. Which is probably why the new White Men Can’t Jump is premiering domestically on Hulu rather than theatrically.
The film is directed by Calmatic, who, after this and the recent House Party, seems to be establishing a strange career pattern making inferior remakes of beloved ‘90s films. Sinqua Walls...

Talk about a wild ride!
With Thorsen shot and mid-Wilshire under attack, our TV Fanatics, Denis, Jasmine, and Christine, have a lot to talk about when it comes to The Rookie Season 5 Episode 22.
What were their favorite moments, couples, and action sequence? Read on to find out. And make sure to take the poll down below!
Thorsen's life hangs in the balance after the attack on him and Celina. Do you think there's any chance he won't survive?
Denis: The Rookie never kills off characters aimlessly. In fact, they do the opposite. They keep them around for as long as possible. Based on some character development Thorsen has seen through the season, killing him now wouldn't make sense.
Jasmine: I don't think they'll kill him off because it's too similar to Jackson dying, and he's literally Jackson's replacement. It would feel like overkill and unnecessary. But it did the trick...
