Welcome to this week’s review of Aew’s latest television show, Collision, which brings wrestling back to Saturday nights! We’ve got the commentary team of Nigel McGuinness, Kevin Kelly and Tony Schiavone calling the action, so let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Continental Classic Tournament Blue League Match – Claudio Castagnoli def. Andrade El Idolo The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Claudio Castagnoli locked up with Andrade and back him into the corner. Andrade powered out and rammed Claudio with a shoulder block. Claudio fired back with a standing clothesline. Andrade connected with a crossbody for a two-count. Andrade jumped over the top rope to Claudio on the arena floor, but Claudio countered with a European uppercut. Andrade used two dragon screw leg whips, but Claudio couldn’t be contained and blasted Andrade El Idolo with a pop up European uppercut. Claudio hurled Andrade around the ring with the Big Swing!

Welcome to this review of this past Friday’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on the show!
Match #1: Rey Mysterio def. Karrion Kross The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Wanting to shut down Rey Mysterio for good, Karrion Kross seeked to eradicate The Master of the 619 from the WWE Universe. Kross used his size advantage from the off-set, trying to wrench Mysterio’s mask from his face. Mysterio would utilize the other side of the size discrepancy, using his quickness to hit a huge splash for a two count. In the end Mysterio’s agility proved key, putting away Kross with a crucifix pin.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Lacey Evans vs. Jazmin Allure The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Lacey Evans made her return in dominant fashion, putting away Laredo local Jazmin Allura with the devastating Cobra Clutch.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which this week keeps the match count low, with only 6 matches on this week’s card! We’ve got Matt Menard and Paul Wight on commentary, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: Marina Shafir def. Jazmin Allure
My Thoughts: Shafir dominated this match, squashing Allure in less than two minutes. Short and sweet but very effective.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Emi Sakura and The Bunny def. Lady Bird Monroe and Gigi Rey
My Thoughts: Another squash match. Not much to say about this one other than Emi Sakura and The Bunny made for a good team – both of them have evil streaks that really added to the storytelling of this one.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin), Ethan Page, Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy and Konosuke Takeshita def. The Trustbusters and...

Welcome to this return of The Last Week In Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this simplified version of the column shall encompass all of the major reviews on the site and serve as the exclusive debut of many of the leagues’ different reviews, including the Major League Wrestling, Ring Of Honor, National Wrestling Alliance, Nxt UK and 205 Live, along with my versions of the two Aew: Dark reviews and the debut of New Japan Strong. These promotions will have their matches scored and the best match of the week will be named before we wrap-up with a verdict on the week in wrestling overall. Okay. Let’s kick some ass. Melvin McMelvin: You cannot say such things! Me: Who the f—k are you? McM: I am Melvin McMelvin, attorney for the Internetal Protectorate! I represent the decency of the internet! I got rid of Cambodian Thong Pies!

Welcome to this weeks episode of Aew: Dark which, like is companion show Aew Dark: Elevation, has been on a run of good episodes recently. Let’s see is Dark drops the ball like this weeks Elevation… Straight away it loses points for yet another 2-hour show!
Match #1: Powerhouse Hobbs def. Dean Alexander
My Thoughts: The match was over faster than it took me to write this sentence. Seriously. What’s the point in having these types of matches? Quick squash matches do nothing except possibly make the winner look like a beast and/or piss the audience off with the waste of time in a 2 hour show!
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Dante Martin def. Falco
My Thoughts: Another superb match from Dante Martin, at this rate he’ll be on the path to a singles championship before his brother gets back from injury! That 450 splash is one hell of a finisher,...

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark which, like its namesake Elevation, is a shorter show this week. Thank god. Like the show, let’s keep this review short and sweet too – let’s go!
Match #1: Dark Order def. Jake St. Patrick, Sage Scott, & Chandler Hopkins
My Thoughts: Godammit, Evil Uno and Stu Grayson are good, aren’t they? They made this look easy, ebbig and flowing, tagging in and out, destroying the team of St. Patrick, Scott and Hopkins. Throw Reynolds in the mix and you have. tremendous trios team! Hell, throw Any Drak Order member in with Uno and Grayson and you have a damn good Trios team! Short and sweet.
My score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Team Taz def. Brick Aldridge, Justin Law, & Hayden Backlund
My Thoughts: A Backlund… on Aew? Ok, so Hayden might only be a distant relation of the legendary Bob Backlund but still.

After last week’s successful outing for Aew Dark: Elevation, and the fact it looks like Aew have cut down on the sheer number of matches on this week’s episode meaning this weeks episode is a lot shorter than the 2+ hours of episode three, I thought we’d revisit Aew Dark: Elevation and see how the latest episode fares… With that said, let’s get to it!
Match #1: Adam Page def. Bill Collier
My Thoughts: Bill Collier puts in another great showing, though he did still look a bit green – waiting for the odd move from Hangman Page and he looked mis-positioned for Page’s Buckshot… Still its only his second match in Aew. And you have to love Page handing Collier a beer after the match!
My score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Varsity Blondes def. Dean Alexander & Carlie Bravo
My Thoughts: A fairly even pairing between these two teams,...

Welcome to the first review of Aew Dark: Elevation here on Nerdly. The first you say? But this is episode 3, how can this be the first review? Well, if I’m honest, I thought the first episode of Elevation was so bad I actually turned it off before the end of the show… bad as in it just felt like a retread of Dark; there was nothing – in my opinion – to distinguish it from Aew’s other YouTube show. So, with a sour taste in my mouth from the debut episode, I also skipped episode 2 last week. I didn’t even watch it. But you know, Aew fan boy that I am I had to give Elevation another go… Which leads us to this review!
Match #1: Orange Cassidy & Chuck Taylor def. Jd Drake & Ryan Nemeth
