Designer, supervisor and manager of production and post production workflows, talent and facilities, Scott is a skilled screenwriter, creates shooting schedules, budgets, and handles casting of leading and supporting actors, hiring key and assistant crew, securing production financing, locations, equipment, stages and facilities.
Working with major studios and various independent companies and facilities, Oscar and Emmy award winning directors, actors, crew, DPs', PDs', VR and VFX artists, editors, film composers, sound designers, re-recording mixers along with studio and independent distributors. Scott was born in Brighton Beach, NY and is a classically trained pianist.
Beginning at age (8) Scott started out as a "Gopher" on the feature, "The Lords of Flatbush" and grew up on movie and TV sets. Scott attended Horace Mann Middle School, Beverly Hills High, and Cal Arts, spending summers working on various features, MOW's and series for various friends and relatives, doing different jobs on every show from production assistant, stage manager, transportation coordinator, and as a background and featured actor on numerous features and series.
Out of college, Scott joined the Spotlite Talent Agency and became a franchised talent agent. Based in Beverly Hills, Scott exclusively represented, booked and produced celebrity comedians, actors, actresses, musicians, production shows and variety acts such as Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Damon Wayans, Carrot Top, The Amazing Jonathan, Ellen Degeneres, Tony Bennett, Nancy Wilson, Debbie Reynolds and dozens of others. Scott went on to develop various television series at the agency like "In Living Color", "Coach" and "Amen to name a few. Soon after, Scott produced a series of commercials for John Deere, General Motors, Canon Digital Cameras and many others. He also produced The St. Jude's Children's Hospital Telethon for NBC in Ohio and was recruited by Dick Clark as Director of Comedy, where he produced corporate special events, marketing campaigns, casino shows, ticketed concerts, fundraisers and sponsorships.
Next, Scott was made a partner in Wilshire Stages, a $10mil post sound facility in Beverly Hills where Scott designed sound packages for over a thousand features in a seven year period. In 2004, Scott joined up with producing partner Ron Singer and opened That's Hollywood.
