I Wanna Marry Harry has been confirmed to air in June in the UK.
The bizarre reality TV show sees 12 women seeking a date with a man who they believe to be Prince Harry.
The twist is that the supposed royal is a man called Matt Hicks who works for an environmental consulting firm.
ITV2 has now confirmed that the show will broadcast on Wednesday, June 4 at 9pm. It premiered in the Us last week.
The show, which is from Ryan Seacrest Productions, sees Hicks having a crash course in fine dining, horseback riding and etiquette, before trying to convince the bachelorettes that he is the fourth in line to the throne.
With one woman being eliminated from the show each week, Hicks will eventually reveal his true identity - leaving her to decide whether she likes him for who he truly is.

Fake Prince Harry may not have a royal title, but he does have a sense of humor! Average Brit Matt Hicks, star of the new Fox dating show I Wanna Marry "Harry"—in which 12 American girls vie for the attention of a man they believe may be Prince William's younger, eligible brother—told New York Magazine's Vulture on Tuesday, May 20, that he thought the idea for the show was "hilarious," even though he knew he'd probably be the target of "endless mockery." "I was silent for all [...]...

Whoever came up with the concept for I Wanna Marry "Harry" deserves a bonus, a garter of some order or other, a ceremonial sword and a small crown with the jewels carefully pried loose. You can't just be giving away jewels. The point is that it has been a while since a reality show's concept was so outlandishly irresistible that it created the instant rush of anticipation that "Harry" has. It premieres Tuesday (9 p.m.) on Fox. Imagine 12 young American women with no more polish than Eliza Doolittle - for that matter, imagine 12 American Eliza Doolittles - dropped off at a Downton Abbey manor house.

var brightcovevideoid = '3578247666001'; Matt Hicks was no stranger to the dating world, but going out with 12 American women tricked into believing he was Prince Harry proved a challenge - and not just for the reasons you would expect. "That was my first foray into dating American women and it was quite an eye opener," Hicks tells People of posing as the royal redhead on Fox's new reality dating show I Wanna Marry "Harry". "It was very different to my past experience dating English girls." While Hicks calls American women "extremely loud and forward," he does not mean that in a bad way.

Tonight, on Fox’s new reality series I Wanna Marry Harry, 12 hot, young, British-history-adverse Americans will compete for the affections of Prince Harry! The catch? This British ginger isn’t really Prince Harry, as anyone with a half-decent monocle can already tell, although we’re told that he does score a 99 percent match with his royal counterpart using facial recognition technology. (Science!) Not to worry, though: In case you forget that Matt Hicks is just an impostor, the show helpfully identifies him as “Matt Hicks, Not Really Prince Harry.” Apparently, it’s all part of some benevolent master plan: “I...

Tonight is the premiere of the Fox dating show I Wanna Marry “Harry,” a next-gen Joe Millionaire in which an ordinary 23-year-old British bloke named Matt Hicks woos single women by posing as Prince Harry ... if somehow Prince Harry’s strip-poker nights in Vegas had dried up and the queen had suggested her grandson regain his mojo on American television. The charade here is so ridiculous (e.g., “Harry” is attended 24/7 by a manservant named Kingsley) that it’s great fun to watch for at least the first episode. Vulture chatted with the 23-year-old Brit about his past work in the look-alike industry and how hard he tried not to come off like a scumbag while lying to 12 totally silly girls.Did you have to audition to be fake Harry? No, I was on a look-alike website for a few months, and got an email from the production company. I...

As a connoisseur of fairy tale-fueled Fox shows from "Joe Millionaire" to "Forever Eden" to "Paradise Hotel," the network's punctuationally challenging "I Wanna Marry 'Harry'" was right in my sweet spot. And, after watching the premiere, I knew I definitely wanted to talk to series star Matt Hicks about the series, in which he has to convince a giggling coterie of love-starved American party girls that he's royalty, specifically that he's Prince Harry. It also struck me that since Hicks' claim-to-fame for this series is his resemblance -- 99 percent, according to the show's facial recognition software -- to the man who is fourth in line to the British throne, merely doing my standard Q&A interview might give depth, but it wouldn't let you look at a guy who looks a bit like another famous guy. Several things to keep in mind as you watch: Matt does, indeed, look somewhat like Prince Harry,...

A year ago, Matt Hicks was just a normal guy living with friends in Exeter, U.K., working as an environmental consultant and playing hockey in his spare time. But when the producers behind Fox's new reality show I Wanna Marry Harry reached out to him, Hicks thought, "Why not?"
The twist: Hicks would have to pretend to be Prince Harry while courting 12 American girls.

Remember "Joe Millionaire," the cruel twist on dating show conventions that allowed a fleet of love-hungry women to chase a handsome guy on national TV under the misconception he had a ton of money when the reality was he was mostly broke? Ah, those were the days. Fox is back at it again with "I Wanna Marry 'Harry'" (premiering Tues. May 27 at 8:00 p.m. Et). The show has found a lookalike for the Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales (aka Prince Harry) in regular guy Matthew Hicks. Now, 12 suckers, I mean American women, get a chance to date him! Obviously, these women can't be the sharpest knives in the drawer if they think a royal this high up in the line of succession is going to look for love on an American reality TV show, but then again, a free vacation in England may have been temptation enough. The ladies include a preschool teacher,...

Fox's I Wanna Marry "Harry" looks absolutely ridiculous—and we're already obsessed. The new reality show is essentially Joe Millionaire, but with a Prince Harry look-alike instead of a fake millionaire. The premise: 12 American girls travel to a gorgeous English country house. "We're at Downton Abbey," one of the contestants shrieks in the first look video below. The ladies get their first glimpse at "Sir," that's what they're calling the fake Prince Harry, whose real name is Matt Hicks, when he arrives by helicopter. He's quickly rushed away, leaving the ladies to speculate as to whom this playboy really is. "The stakes have been raised tenfold and...

Matt Hicks is a fine, upstanding, attractive, young Brit – but would you believe he was Prince Harry of Wales?
That was just the predicament presented to 12 American girls who were whisked away to a European "castle" to meet a mystery man they would soon be told was the redheaded royal on the new Fox reality show I Wanna Marry "Harry".
"I was terrified to meet them," Hicks, 24, tells People in an exclusive interview. "It was quite a lot of pressure because I knew it was all riding on [them believing]."
But Hicks was provided a little assistance in keeping up the charade...
