"It's a whole new game these days." "It looks like the same game to me..." Saban Films has debuted the trailer for an indie crime thriller titled American Sicario, from filmmaker Raja Collins. The synopsis for this makes it sound like a twist on American Gangster and Sicario, about a crime boss in Mexico originally from America. Go figure. I guess putting Sicario in the title of your film is always a selling point. Based on the true story of America's most dangerous drug trafficker - it's about the American gangster Erik Vasquez, played by Philippe A. Haddad, who is scheming to become the top dog in the Mexican underworld, only to find himself making enemies out of both the powerful cartels and his own allies. This also stars Maurice Compte, Maya Stojan, Jaylen Moore, Johnny Rey Diaz, & Danny Trejo. Unfortunately, this trailer makes the film look extra dumb, as...

With four more episodes left to air, History has decided to cancel its gritty military drama Six.
Ratings have not been kind to the second season, but there were some big changes to the story of the ten-episode chapter in comparison to Six Season 1.
What hasn't changed is camaraderie between the characters on one of the few shows on television that currently features men supporting other men in a sea of programming that features women doing it all the time.
Six Season 2 began immediately after Rip was shot. The character was ultimately killed, leaving a hole in the cast left by Walton Goggins.
The Seal Team felt the pain of their former leader's loss and with Bear at the helm and the addition of CIA officer Gina Cline (Olivia Munn), began to scour Eastern Europe, infiltrating hostile territory and terrorist hotspots like Chechnya as they track the mastermind behind the...

Six is History. The cable net has cancelled the testosterone-charged military drama after two seasons, Deadline reports.
Season 1 of Six averaged 1.6 million viewers and a 0.4 demo rating, whereas its sophomore run has been mustering exactly half of that through its first six of 10 episodes. The final four episodes will air as scheduled, with the series finale slated for Aug. 1.
Olivia Munn was added to the cast in Season 2, joining returning stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Jaylen Moore, Brianne Davis and Nadine Velazquez.

Exclusive: History has opted not to order a third season of its Navy Seal drama series Six. The decision comes with four more episodes left to air from the 10-episode second season. They will run as scheduled. I hear the timing of the decision was tied to the cast options expiring at the end of this week.
Six was a breakout for History when it debuted in early 2017, drawing strong ratings and earning a Season 2 renewal ahead of its Season 1 finale for a 10-episode second season, up from the eight-episode first season.
Ratings have dropped in Season 2, running almost 50% below the Season 1 averages in Live+same day, which I hear was behind the cancellation decision.
History’s scripted series portfolio includes flagship Vikings, Knightfall, which I hear is gearing up for a second season, and the upcoming Robert Zemeckis-produced UFO series Blue Book.

The new sports drama “Tri” takes a long, hard look at just what it takes to complete a triathlon, and how far someone can push themselves to achieve. The film follows Natalie (Jensen Jacobs), an ultrasound tech with a history of not finishing things, who is inspired by a cancer patient to sign up for a triathlon. She’s soon introduced to the strange (and aerodynamic) world of triathletes and meets a bevy of colorful characters as she trains for the Nations Triathlon. With the support of her new teammates, she discovers just how far she’s willing to go. The film also stars Chris Williams (“Dodgeball”), Marla Aaron Wapner (“House of Cards”), Kenneth Simmons (“Kick-Ass”), Jaylen Moore (“Homeland”) and Tim Reid (“Wkrp In Cincinnati”). Brake Trailer. Gabe Torres‘ Brake (2012) movie trailer stars Stephen Dorff, Chyler Leigh, Jr Bourne, Tom Berenger, and Kali Rocha. Brake‘s plot synopsis: “A Secret Service Agent is held captive in the trunk of a car and endures high-speed mental and physical torture as terrorists attempt to extract needed information for their sinister plot.”
I thought this was a re-dux of Buried but it actually looks much better. The viewer will be surprised at the amount and varying tricks up the kidnapper’s sleeve.
Brake also stars King Orba, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Sammy Sheik, Kent Shocknek, Jaylen Moore, Stephen J. Bridgewater, and Matthew Pollino.
Watch the Brake movie trailer and leave your thoughts on it in the comments section below. For more Brake photos, videos, and information, check out our Brake Page. Brake opens in Us theaters through IFC in Theaters on March 23, 2012.
