The British Prime Minister, Theresa May, is notoriously known for her standout footwear choices. (Seriously, we haven’t been this captivated by a Brit’s shoes since Victoria Beckham’s gravity-defining high-heel days.) But the politician’s recent comments on her shoes weren’t well received on Twitter.
May did an interview with BBC’s The One Show alongside her husband, Philip May, on Tuesday, and after talking politics and family life, the conversation turned to her eccentric taste in accessories. “I like my nice shoes and it gives me a reason to go and buy some more,” she said.

Another episode of The Americans, another hour my imagination runs wild.
While there are gripping circumstances on The Americans Season 5 Episode 2, it's what my mind conjures up at bizarre times that surprises me the most.
Somehow, I manage to read more into every action. Will it really be only a conversation with Paige? Is Renee interested in Stan or does she want something more? The mind is a terrible thing.
In an interview I had with James Purefoy that goes live March 15, he talked about good writing utilizing the past and future as a lens into the present.
The Americans is certainly a good example of that at the moment, as not even the best writers could have imagined a scenario that their series would be shot and in the can with material so reflective of the current mood between the Us and Russia.

Will the United Kingdom soon have its second female Prime Minister? That's the big question hanging in the London air following another crazy political week that has seen hot Prime Minister favorite Boris Johnson quit the race. The new contender for the title? Theresa May, 59, Member of Parliament for the sleepy rural constituency of Maidenhead in Royal Berkshire - and just about the toughest, most no-nonsense politician in Britain. "I know I'm not a showy politician," May said at her campaign launch on Thursday. "I don't tour the television studios. I don't gossip about people over lunch. I don't go drinking in Parliament's bars.

Prince Philip has hilariously had his fill of photo shoot nonsense. On Friday, the Duke of Edinburgh gave a photographer a piece of his mind during an event honoring the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain at London's Raf Club. As video from the reception shows, Philip wanted to quickly wrap up portrait time. "Just take the f*cking picture!" he said. Philip was joined by his grandson Prince William, who smiled and went the flow. Philip may have a good excuse for his impatience - just last week, he participated in Princess Charlotte's christening photo shoot, which was snapped by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. And then there's the fact that Philip has spent most of his life in the spotlight with Queen Elizabeth II. Watch his funny moment unfold, then check out more viral videos.

But if Philip has mostly calmed down since his confrontation with Pastor Tim, Elizabeth's time with Jared only increases her own concerns about the risks this job creates for both them and their kids. The season has had so many moving pieces that it hasn't had a lot of time to deal with the mystery of who killed Emmett and Leanne. New reports tragically claims that Philip may have fallen victim to a deadly form of heroin known as ‘Ace of Spades,’ and that the actor had a scary amount of drugs inside his apartment.
Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s issues with drugs appear to be way more serious than anyone suspected. After he died from allegedly injecting himself with a deadly combination of heroin and a narcotic pain killer, police found more than 50 bags containing what they believe to be heroin in his apartment, as well as several bottles of prescription drugs.
Philip Seymour Hoffman: Killed By A Deadly Drug?
When Philip was found dead in his New York City apartment, he still had a syringe in his arm, and police also found two bags of powder believed to be heroin near his body. Additionally, authorities found more than 50 glassine-type bags in his apartment containing what is believed to be heroin.

Modern Family Season 4, Episode 21: “Career Day”
Written by Paul Corrigan & Brad Walsh
Directed by Jim Hensz
Airs on Wednesdays at 9pm (Et) on ABC
It pains me to say it, but Modern Family has become one of those hit and miss sitcoms. Up until now the show was consistently good, but like NBC’s Community, Modern Family is currently in its fourth season and for every great episode there seems to be a boring one. After a two week break, the return episode, “Career Day”, is a dud.
“Career Day” gets its title from the beginning part of the episode but what it really focuses on is the lengths adults will go to to impress their children. To be honest though, I haven’t seen a good Career Day driven episode since That 70′s Show‘s “Career Day” (Season 1, Episode 18) or The Simpsons’ “I am Furious (Yellow)” (Season 13, Episode...

Breathe. Do not forget to breathe.
Your enjoyment of "The Americans" requires you to stay alive long enough to truly appreciate the incredible -- but real -- genius of the show's Season 1 finale. No matter how much anyone studied history or could have guessed about what was coming, "The Colonel" still managed to shock and surprise from beginning to end.
It's going to be a long almost-year to wait before we find out what happens next.
Crises of conscience and related international crises
Philip and Elizabeth Jennings (Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell) have not one but two missions to accomplish before the season ends. The first is an everyday thing: Someone has to go retrieve a recording from Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger's study bug. The other mission is a little more dangerous, as it requires one of them to meet with a Colonel who knows all about the Reagan administration's Star Wars program.

We’ve come full circle on The Americans. Although the show ostensibly focuses on Russian spies in America, one of the most engaging plot threads centers on the deteriorating relationship between Phil and Elizabeth (Keri Russell).
When we first met the couple, Elizabeth was a hardened Russian spy. She may have had two children with Phil, as part of their marital cover, but her real affection lay elsewhere. Phil, on the other hand, was transforming into a freedom loving citizen. Then, things changed. In the span of seven episodes, Phil and Elizabeth developed a stronger emotional bond, one worthy of the marriage sacrament – even if the legal contract was a farce.

Jeremy Clarkson has branded Britain "a nation of 62 million complete and utter b**tards". The Top Gear presenter was responding to abuse he received from Twitter trolls after announcing that his dog Whoopi had died. "A few moments ago, my dog died, and, as an experiment, I announced the fact on Twitter. Now, everyone must have known that when a family pet is put down, the family in question is bound to be upset," Clarkson wrote in Top Gear magazine. "So you'd expect a bit of sympathy. "Phil May wanted to know if it was James May's fault, and Tom Green said simply, 'Good'. All that in less than what Twitter calls zero seconds. "Five (more)...

In case you didn’t know, today – February 2nd – is Groundhog Day. And to celebrate the momentous American holiday that inspired the bloody brilliant Bill Murray film of the same name, we’re going to answer one of the most asked questions in cinematic history.
Just how many days does Phil Connors spend trapped in the perpetual loop of Groundhog Day?
Okay, so director Harold Ramis has sort of already answered it on the DVD commentary of the film (10 years he reckoned) and then later, in response to several sites online running an article that came to an answer of just 8 years, 8 months, and 16 days, he offered the following (seemingly contradicting his own bloody answer in the process!):
I think the 10-year estimate is too short. It takes at least 10 years to get good at anything, and alloting for the down time and misguided years he spent, it had...
