While Miley Cyrus isn't the first person to come to mind when making a wishlist of artists to cover Bob Dylan songs, we have to admit -- we're really looking forward to this album.
Miley and a host of her contemporaries have joined forces to pay tribute to both Bob Dylan and Amnesty International with a new cover album. The record, titled "Chimes of Freedom," features a huge variety of artists -- from Pete Seeger to Ke$ha.
"Glee" star Darren Criss even makes a contribution to the four-disc compilation, covering New Morning with his brother, Chuck Criss, and his band the Freelance Whales. The jam-packed album, which "salutes Amnesty International's 50th anniversary and life-saving human rights work," is set for a January 24 release. Check out the list of songs and artists below to see which classic your favorite singer will be covering.

Peace One Day will hold its annual concert at Le Zénith in Paris on September 17. Hosted by Jude Law and Sharon Stone, the concert will feature Patti Smith and Youssou N'Dour, as well as Charlie Winston, Ayo and Vanessa Paradis.
“This is the second year I’ve performed at a Peace One Day celebration,” said Charlie Winston. “It’s such a great idea which is beginning to move mountains. I hope everyone who comes to the show has a night to remember and that more and more people are inspired to raise awareness of Peace One Day.”

HoboCharlie WinstonReal World Records**** An interesting find here. This singer-songwriter clearly wears his heart on his sleeve, as he unabashedly belts out song after song on his second album after 2007’s Make Way. Charlie Winston is an astonishing artist who will one day be a big star (he’s already playing to 40,000 people) worldwide. He currently lives in Paris, and is generally on the European tour circuit, but it is only a matter of time before the world will wake up to his sounds and soliloquies. The soul of a busker, the vibe of a song and dance man, and the ...

Bit of a change from our usual rhythm here, but we thought we'd bring you an exclusive look at this rather charming music video from British artist Charlie Winston (who's massive in France, even though he's yet to become a household name here in the UK). The link? Well, his latest video for I Love Your Smile stars Audrey Tautou, and she makes movies, so it's all totally relevant. The video's pretty self-explanatory, although Winston says it's about “seeing how wonderful life is and sharing that feeling, simply with a smile”. Also, we think it's about bikes. The song's out on February 22 (from the album Hobo), and Winston will be on tour around the UK with Newton Faulkner from March 3 - 17. As far as we know, however, Tautou won't be with him. But he might bring his bike we suppose, the better to be adorable and quirky.
