AC/DC are set to embark on their first tour in eight years later this month, and the legendary rock band has unveiled a photo of its revamped lineup rehearsing for the outing (see below).
The current incarnation of the band includes classic members Brian Johnson (vocals) and Angus Young (lead guitar) alongside rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney.
Stevie, the nephew of Angus, has been with the band for several years, filling in when Malcolm Young was diagnosed with dementia and remaining with the band following Malcolm’s passing in 2017.
Laug made his debut with AC/DC at their comeback gig at the Power Trip festival in Indio, California, this past October after it was revealed that classic drummer Phil Rudd would not be performing with the band.

Five years after Dave Grohl performed his prog-rock epic “Play” live for the first (and only) time, a video of the complete and extended performance of the song has been revealed.

Dave Grohl has unleashed the only live performance of his epic 23-minute, instrumental “Play,” which extends the song to a whopping 36 minutes.
Recorded during Warren Haynes’ 30th Annual Christmas Jam in 2018, the live version expands the breadth of the instrumental as Grohl is accompanied by Greg Kurstin on keyboards, Chris Chaney on bass, Drew Hester on percussion, and guitarists Jason Falkner, Alain Johannes, and Barrett Jones. However, it’s Asheville-based busker Abby the Spoon Lady who really steals the show. Watch the performance below.
“Play” was originally composed and performed entirely with Grohl on every instrument. The process of its recording was captured in a two-part documentary of the same name, released in 2018.
The track will appear on The Benefit Concert Volume 20, a collection of performances recorded on December 7th and 8th, 2018 in Asheville, North Carolina. Other featured artists include Eric Church, Joe Bonamassa, Gov’t Mule, Mike Gordon, Marco Benevento,...

David Lee Roth returned to the live stage last Thursday (March 23rd) in Las Vegas for a performance of Van Halen’s “Panama” with all-star cover band Royal Machines.
The show took place at the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay as part of a corporate event for Home Depot sales managers. Comprised of such musicians as Billy Morrison, Mark McGrath, Donovan Leitch Jr., Chris Chaney and Josh Freese, Royal Machines were also joined by Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens for this show. The group gave attendees a big surprise when Dlr took the stage donning a bright yellow suit.
The Van Halen singer guided the group through a rousing rendition of “Panama,” using the downtime between verses to toss in his signature ad libs. During the drop out, Dlr worked the enthusiastic crowd of Home Depot employees, asking: “Are we having a good time so far?!”

Celebrities are a perfect target for hackers -- they're highly visible, spend lots of time on their smartphones and they know next to nothing about security. It's no wonder they're often victimized by hackers -- from lone hackerazzis like the alleged Christopher Chaney to hacker groups like the Anonymous offshoot 'Hollywood Leaks.'
But how do these hackers actually hack a cell phone?
Many people seem to think it requires a great deal of computer skill to hack a phone; that you have to be some type of hacker mastermind. But the reality is, it's not that hard.
Here are a few ways:
# 1 -- Physical Access to the Phone -- Obviously, if a person can get physical access to a cell phone, even for a few seconds, it's game over. The person can clone it, place a remote spying tool on the phone or download the pictures and information directly to their own account.

Alt-rock legends Jane's Addiction killed it the other night, performing an eight-song, forty-two minute after-hours set at, of all places, Google's annual I/O developer conference in San Francisco. The original lineup was on stage, minus bassist Eric Avery, replaced by Strays-era low-ender Chris Chaney. Jane's is keeping in fighting trim, while grabbing some of that corporate money, as they prepare to tour in support of their forthcoming album, The Great Escape Artist. Lead singer Perry Farrell brought his nasally defiance to the tech-heads, gently teasing the crowd about "Googlepalooza" as he intermittently swigged from a bottle of wine. Stephen Perkins hasn't missed a beat with his tribal thump on drums, and Dave Navarro remains the guy who's no longer with Carmen Electra. (Just kidding.) It's funny to see how smartphones and tablets have usurped the place of lighters at rock [...]...

Rocker Perry Farrell insists Jane's Addiction's search for a permanent bass player is far from over - because their latest addition, Dave Sitek, doesn't like touring. The reunited rockers lost original bassist Eric Avery and his replacement Duff McKagan last year and former band member Chris Chaney joined the band for a New Year's Eve concert.
Now former TV on the Radio star Sitek has joined the group as Farrell, Stephen Perkins and Dave Navarro work on a new album - but he's unlikely to be a permanent fix. The frontman tells Rolling Stone, "He's not a guy that likes to go on tours though, so we haven't decided who it will be yet."
And Farrell tells the publication he's still puzzled about why former Guns N' Roses star McKagan quit the group after just three shows and five months. He adds, "I couldn't really tell you what his problem was.

Former Guns N' Roses star Duff McKagan has reportedly become the latest member of Jane's Addiction - he's rumored to have stepped in to replace bassist Eric Avery. The band reunited in 2008 after Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor convinced them to join him on tour - and they have also been back in the studio working on new material.
The reunion was marred by the recent departure of original member Avery, but frontman Perry Farrell subsequently revealed they have been working with a new "writing partner" and internet rumors have turned to McKagan.
Fansite Xiola is reporting the Velvet Revolver rocker has joined the band in the studio. Avery previously refused to reunite with the rockers when they reformed in 1997 and 2001, following their original 1991 split. He has been replaced over the years by stars including Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, Martyn LeNoble and Chris Chaney.
