Crunchyroll just rolled out the English dub of ‘Dragon Ball Super!’ You can start watching at 1:00 Pm Pst today. It’s a treat for those of us who’ve been waiting to enjoy the series with English voiceovers.
The cool part is, the dub brings back familiar voices from the classic ‘Dragon Ball’ series. Sean Schemmel is voicing Goku again, and Christopher R. Sabat takes on both Piccolo and Vegeta. Plus, we’ve got some fresh voices like Matthew Mercer as Hit and David Gray as Zamasu.
And there’s more to the voice cast. We’re talking Kyle Hebert as Gohan, Christopher Ayres as Frieza, and Monica Rial stepping into Bulma’s shoes. Not to forget, Jason Douglas as Beerus and Patrick Seitz lending his voice to Jiren. The list goes on with talents like Sonny Strait as Krillin and Eric Vale as Future Trunks.

Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind is the third and latest installment of the Warner Bros. animated franchise following Scorpion’s Revenge and Battle of the Realms. And it wastes no time getting right into the bloody action. Literally in the first minute of the film a convoy of vehicles pulls looking like it rolled out of one of the better Road Warrior rip-offs smashes through the gates of a town. The occupants begin slicing off heads, ripping out spines, impaling and incinerating the residents in gruesome detail. King Kano and the Black Dragons have arrived, ironically telling the survivors they’re here to protect them in return for a small tax.

Inspired by the worldwide video game sensation now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind finds vicious, power-mad Kano determined to take over Earthrealm, one soul at a time. Assisted by a trio of cold Black Dragon mercenaries, he embarks on a brutal assault from town to defenseless town. The choice is simple: Kneel or be annihilated. But when the cocky and talented but undisciplined Kenshi doesn’t take a knee, Kano and his clan destroy the young warrior, taking his eyesight and his confidence. Under the tutelage of reluctant, retired Kuai Liang, the only one powerful enough to challenge the malevolent Kano, Kenshi finds renewed hope and a clear path to redemption.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is getting set to unleash their new animated Mortal Kombat movie, this one titled Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind and releasing this year.
Rick Morales directed Snow Blind, written by Jeremy Adams.
In Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind, “Kano is hellbent on taking over Earthrealm, viciously attacking town after town with the aid of three cold-blooded Black Dragon mercenaries. Those who don’t submit are annihilated. One young man won’t bend the knee to Kano: Kenshi.
“Cocky and undisciplined, Kenshi loses both his eyesight and his confidence after Kano and his clan attack him. Kenshi then comes under the tutelage of Kuai Liang, now retired and reluctant to train Kenshi – but also the only fighter powerful enough to challenge Kano.
“Along the way, Kenshi rediscovers the hope he had lost and a possible path to redemption … but will that be enough to stop Kano and save Earthrealm?...

Between the live action reboot of Mortal Kombat and my growing appreciation of the animated Batman films it was pretty much a given that I would check out another of Warner’s animated offerings, Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms begins with a couple fleeing through deserted streets before being confronted by a trio of nasty looking creatures. They kill the couple but Raiden (Dave B. Mitchell; Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous) arrives in time to save their baby whom the mother names Liu Kang with her dying breath.
We’re barely a minute in and already there’s a decapitation and a pair of eyes exploding from their sockets.

The years spent by Bruce Wayne training to become a crimefighter are some of the most fascinating in the Batman mythos, and have been explored in multiple ways across various mediums. A new DC animated feature, Batman: Soul of the Dragon now offers the intriguing prospect of a 1970s-set story wherein a young Bruce embarks on the path to martial arts mastery. We recently received the trailer and first clip from the film, and now have an introduction to Richard Dragon, one of the main characters from the Bruce Timm-produced movie.
In the video, which you can catch above, voice actor Mark Dacascos describes how we meet Dragon in the 1970s as a super spy who trained with Bruce alongside master O-Sensei. We then see Dragon in training, and being pointed out by O-Sensei to Bruce, foreshadowing the partnership between the two depicted in the recent trailer. At this point,...

Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge isn’t quite the return to live-action that fans of the franchise have been waiting almost two decades for, but it’s undoubtedly a terrific stop-gap.
Labelling Warner Bros. Animation’s direct-to-video flick as such does it something of a disservice – Legends is a terrific addition to the mythology that retells Scorpion’s tragic backstory as well as his role in the inaugural tournament meant to decide Earthrealm’s fate. As of writing, the film has a perfect 100% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes (albeit with a small number of reviews), ranking it as the series’ most well-received cinematic adaptation to date.
Whether next year’s (excluding any delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic) live-action reboot will enjoy a similar level of success remains to be seen, of course, but voice actor for Scorpion’s Revenge, Patrick Seitz, sees no reason why further Legends installments...

Moviegoers don’t primarily recognize Warner Brothers Animation for their cleave-and-dismember content, but after Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, that may change.
Ethan Spaulding’s reboot of Midway’s fatality-fueled video game series relishes its mature rating right out the gate. Everything is not awesome in Hanzo Hasashi’s (Patrick Seitz) world, as rival assassins ruthlessly murder everyone in the warrior’s village. Hasashi’s warpath retribution tears out spinal columns, cascades oceans of blood, and pulverizes through an array of gasp-worthy finishers that redefine hand-drawn violence. Spaulding’s introduction of Hasashi – aka Scorpion – kickstarts the film’s first few minutes with the infernally dark, combat-rich adaptation of Mortal Kombat that live-action films have yet to summon. Let them fight, indeed.
With an opening reminiscent of The Bride’s Crazy 88 massacre in Kill Bill: Volume 1, Scorpion’s Revenge is certifiably not messing around. Nor does underworld fists-and-freakshow action relent.

PSA: The pale-eyed, undead ninja Hanzo Hasashi (Aka Scorpion) has sworn revenge against Shang Tsung, so brace yourself for a supercharged brawl the likes of which we’ve never seen before.
That is, in a nutshell, the core plot powering Warner’s animated Mortal Kombat movie (full title: Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge), which is now just two weeks away from its digital debut.
And so, in an effort to fuel excitement, the Powers That Be have unleashed a suitably graphic, R-rated clip, introducing us to franchise legend Johnny Cage – voiced in this instance by Community and Stargirl alum Joel McHale – and the adventure that awaits.
Helmed by Ethan Spaulding, whose credits include multiple episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Scorpion’s Revenge revolves around the “once-in-a-generation tournament between the champions of Outworld and Earthrealm – a competition that will ultimately determine the fate of Earth and all its citizens.”

"Why would I fight for you?" Warner Bros has released the official trailer for an animated movie titled Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge, the latest "Mortal Kombat Legends" offering. But this one is particularly unique. It is an R-rated animated movie, given that rating for "extreme violence," "bad language" and "a bloody good time." The iconic fighter Scorpion is given a chance by a sorcerer to return as a specter and get revenge for his family that was killed in a genocide. Featuring the voices of Patrick Seitz as Scorpion, Joel McHale as Johnny Cage, Jennifer Carpenter as Sonya Blade, Jordan Rodrigues, Steve Blum, Artt Butler, and Darin De Paul. We probably won't ever see another live-action Mortal Kombat movie, but this may be better than that would ever be. Holy hell! What a trailer. Check it out below. Animation and NetherRealm Studios will premiere a feature-length animated film entitled Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, and it’s every bit as gruesome as one would expect from a franchise known (and indeed celebrated) for its blood, gore, and toe-curling fatalities.
Much to the surprise of no one, Scorpion’s Revenge will be rated R when it makes its way to 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on April 28th – those who prefer digital can expect NetherRealm’s actioner to drop on April 14th – and to stir excitement, IGN has premiered a suitably gruesome trailer for Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge.

With all of this talk of multiverses and shared universes, whatever happened to other dimensions? Nobody ever talks about the Dreamrealm, the Chaosrealm, or Outworld anymore, ya know? Oh…you don’t? Well, I’m talking, of course, about Mortal Kombat. I’m sure you’re all eagerly awaiting that new live-action foray back into the titular deadly fighting tournament, but before that comes out, we’re getting an animated feature with quite the cast.
The film is to be called Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge and Community leading man Joel McHale is set to voice egotistical movie star Johnny Cage in some absolutely perfect casting. For some time now, the animation division over at Warner Bros. has earned much respect by churning out one fantastic DC Comics-based movie after another. But soon enough, believe it or not, they’ll likely be given a shot at adapting one of the most beloved franchises in gaming history: Mortal Kombat.
Actually, this shouldn’t come as a shock since WB now owns the studio developing that series, NetherRealm, not to mention how that same team also puts together the Injustice games. If you’re unfamiliar with those, they’re kind of like Mortal Kombat titles starring DC heroes and villains, though that’s an admitted oversimplification.
Being someone who’s enjoyed dishing out Fatalities (but not Babalities) since the early 1990’s, I’m quite thrilled to hear the wheels have begun turning on this one because, let’s be honest, a live action reboot isn’t happening anytime soon.

There’s been a good amount of animation news spilling out of Warner Bros. recently. We recently shared the news that DC was developing animated film adaptations for Batman: The Long Halloween and Superman: Red Son.
I’ve heard that Warner Bros. have been freaking out over these leaks, and they can’t figure out who is leaking the info. Apparently, these announcements weren’t supposed to happen for another year. But all the news is originating from Revenge of the Fans, and now they have another piece of animated movie news.
They are reporting that WB Animation is also developing a Mortal Kombat movie. They also revealed that Community star Joel McHale will be voicing one of the characters. They don’t know really know who he’s playing, but they speculate that he could take on the role of Johnny Cage, which would make sense.

I know many people who would rejoice at the fact that The Thundercats would be returning to TV again. To see Lion-o, wielding the Sword of Omens once more, vanquishing Mum-Ra and his minions would be fantastic. I know I’d be looking forward to it and when Cartoon Network told us just that I was intrigued. Right up until I saw what was in store for us with the upcoming Thundercats Roar!
So what do you think of that key art? The minute I saw the artwork for this I wanted to punch someone. Every time I look at it something inside me dies a little more. The man responsible for this is Victor Courtright and lets see what he has to say about his new show in the video below:

The ThunderCats are coming back. Cartoon Network has greenlighted ThunderCats Roar, an all-new series from Warner Bros Animation that’s set to premiere next year. Production is underway.
The logline: Staying true to the premise of the original series: Lion-o and the ThunderCats — Tygra, Panthro, Cheetara, Wilykat and Wilykit — barely escape the sudden destruction of their home world, Thundera, only to crash land on the mysterious and exotic planet of Third Earth. Lion-o, the newly appointed Lord of the ThunderCats, attempts to lead the team as they make this planet their new home. A bizarre host of creatures and villains stand in their way, including the evil Mumm-Ra, Third Earth’s wicked ruler who will let nothing, including the ThunderCats, stop his tyrannical reign over the planet.

Warner Bros. Animation is developing a new ThunderCats animated series for Cartoon Network called ThunderCats Roar, and it's definitely not was I was expecting. I am a huge fan of the original ThunderCats series but what they are doing here definitely isn't what I want in a ThunderCats series. ThunderCats was a badass show, and although it's different, I'm not seeing anything really badass about this.
EW released the promo art above and a sneak peek video below that features producer Victor Courtright, who explains that ThunderCats Roar plans on staying true to the original’s premise and will feature tons of action, but that it will also lean into the comedy of the world:
"I think the world that they built lends itself really well to comedy because of how silly and crazy and outlandish those ideas are and some of those settings are. But at the same time,...

Transformers: Combiner Wars is perfect for the generation who grew up with the cartoons back in the 1980s.
In this more adult-oriented cartoon series, Transformers: Combiner Wars spins a new tale for the familiar Transformers in the future as they try to resolve the Combiners. The animated style matches the 1980s cartoons.
The first episode was released on Verizon go90 this week in the United States. It will be released on Sohu in China and Vimeo and YouTube for the rest of the world.
Here’s the synopsis:
Taking place 40 years after the great war on Earth, the eight-episode digital series introduces all-new characters that, combined with characters fans have known for decades, will tell the Transformers storytelling in an exciting new way.
The Autobots and Decepticons have disbanded and returned to Cybertron. With the days of Optimus Prime and Megatron over, Cybertron is now ruled by a triumvirate. However,...

Machinima and Hasbro have released an exciting new trailer their great-looking new animated web series Transformers: Combiner Wars. This sucker was made for the hardcore fans of the original series of the '80s, and it looks like it's going to deliver something that fans are going to love.
We've already seen four prelude episodes for the series that you can check out here featuring the characters Optimus Prime, Victorion, Starscream, and Windblade. Those were cool and all, but this trailer for the actual series is so much more exciting!

It’s be a divisive road for “Suicide Squad” and the movie is still in principal photography. After director David Ayer posted an image of Jared Leto’s Joker covered in tattoos, lines were drawn in the proverbial sand. Either you loved the idea of a modern Joker or you loathed the new Jokalo. Of course, now there are rumblings that Ayer was merely paying homage to 75 years of Joker’s history with that Joker’s tattooed photo, citing DC Comics tweet in the aftermath. It was pretty rad. But, I heard it was just a troll @GregCapullo #BatmanChat https://t.co/mP1PSLuWtd — DC Comics (@DCComics) May 1, 2015 With one hornet’s nest settling down from being kicked, Ayer released another salvo on Twitter. Meet the “Suicide Squad.” Image Credit: Twitter As with any marketing bomb detonated on social media, the blowback was hard and fast. Twitter is alight with opinions,...

If you are not familiar with Yuji Iwahara’s manga, King of Thorn can be one of the more confusing anime films to watch. Characters are cut and marginalized, while others get bigger roles. However, if you’re a sci-fi fan, the second and third viewing of King of Thorn can be as rewarding as watching The Matrix for the umpteenth time.
Directed by Kazuyoshi Katayama (Appleseed, Big O), King of Thorn centers on a dystopian future, where the world is plagued by the Medousa Virus. No, people don’t turn into zombies like The Walking Dead. Instead, they turn into stone –as the virus’ name suggests.
When a worldwide pandemic emerges, a lottery is held to save 160 members of the human race. The plan is to put them in a castle, where they will be cryogenically frozen until a cure can be found. Unfortunately, their cryo-sleep is interrupted and...

We're not sure if you've heard, but "Eclipse" is out now. Fans all across the U.S.A were already lining up for midnight screenings on Tuesday night to be some of the first to catch the third film in the "Twilight Saga." MTV News caught up with New York City Twi-hards before the show, and we were also on hand to talk to Los Angeles fans as they streamed out of the theater.
The consensus among the West Coast Twilighters we spoke to is that David Slade's take on the vampire tale rocked.
