Jane Liscombe has worked in production for almost twenty years,
beginning as a runner on both Granada and BBC productions in the UK,
and working her way up. She graduated from Leeds University with joint
honours in Drama, Film & TV and English Literature going on to secure
an internship at Cruise Wagner Productions, Paramount, LA. Returning to
the UK, Jane worked as the opening titles producer for Emmerdale and an
agency producer at McCann Erickson Europe.
Jane later relocated to Australia joining Exit Films in Melbourne in
2000. While there she teamed up with director Glendyn Ivin and together
created award winning commercials, music videos and most notably, the
short film Cracker Bag. Jane worked as associate producer on Glendyn's
debut feature film Last Ride and also produced a comedy documentary
titled Save Your Legs. The documentary that screened on SBS went on to
win International awards and is currently being made into a feature
film. As well as working as a commercials producer at Exit Films, Jane
is continuing her collaboration with Glendyn Ivin on their feature film
Cherry Bomb, one of a slate of projects in development.
Of working on Beaconsfield, Jane says "the challenge of the physical
production was immense but highly rewarding when you see the film that
has been produced."
