- Gerald Fernando was born on August 14, 1981 in Long Island, New York, USA. He is a producer and director, known for David & Layla (2005), BearCity (2010) and Loverboy (2005).
- Attended State University of New York at Oneonta, majored in Mass Communications and minored in Film Studies and English.
- Interned at Troma Films.
- Made his first short film, "In the Mouth of Evil," at the age of 12 with his father's RCA camcorder. Wrote an ambitous feature-length sequel entitled "Evil Eternity" a year later, which never got made because his script demanded too many elaborate special effects such as a train and car collision, body morphing and a final scene in which the slasher killer spontaneously combusts.
