Korean-based Stereo Pictures, will convert Canadian director Brad Peyton's, Vancouver-lensed Disney sci-fi fantasy, "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore" to 3D, in time for a July release.
Stereo's Us branch, opened in 2007, is managed by former Warner's staffers James R. Miller and Dan Romanelli, with former Cfc Entertainment president Phillip Rhee.
Last month, Stereo Pictures signed an agreement with the Korea Film Council (Kofic) 'to cultivate' S3D professionals and develop S3D technology, planning to train 750 3D artists, engineers through the program, before recruiting them into the company.
"Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore", a Warners, Village Roadshow production, is a sequel to the 2001 "Cats & Dogs". The new movie filmed throughout Vancouver, September to December 2008, including sequences shot @ the Pne amusement park.
Starring Chris O'Donnell and Jack McBrayer. Andrew Lazar produced "Kitty Galore" for Mad Chance with former Warner Independent head Polly Cohen.

Warner Bros. Entertainment is shifting responsibility for the licensing of Cartoon Network properties, including Powerpuff Girls and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, to Cartoon Network Enterprises, putting each entertainment entity in charge of its own merchandising and promotional licensing deals. In an interoffice memo circulated this week, Dan Romanelli, president of Warners Worldwide Consumer Products, and Jim Samples, executive vp and general manager of Cartoon Network Worldwide, wrote, "In order to maintain the momentum that has propelled both our business and the business of our partners, we have decided to shift the merchandising and promotional licensing business of Warner Bros. Warner Bros. Pictures' Batman Begins will take center stage as the title sponsor for the running of the NASCAR Nextel Cup on June 19 at the Michigan International Speedway. Roush racing great Mark Martin will drive a Batman Begins-themed car, the Batmobile from the film will lead a pack of 43 race cars as they launch the competition, and a newly redesigned fan area behind the main grandstand will incorporate the Batman Begins fan zone. "We're looking forward to pairing the onscreen excitement of 'Batman Begins' to the on-track excitement of NASCAR," said Dan Romanelli, president of Warners' Worldwide Consumer Products. The movie opens June 15.

Warner Bros. has named DreamWorks consumer products veteran Brad Globe executive vp and general manager of Warner Bros. Worldwide Consumer Products and announced that he will succeed Dan Romanelli as president of the Warners division in July 2006. Romanelli, who founded the Warner Bros. Consumer Products division more than 20 years ago, will take on a creative entrepreneurial role within the company, looking for new properties and franchises that translate into profitable licensing and merchandising opportunities. Romanelli, who will work as a consultant for Warners with an office on the studio lot, said he hopes to acquire a stake in the entertainment properties he brings to the company. In his new position, which takes effect Feb. 7, Globe will report to Romanelli and be responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of Warners' Consumer Products global business.

Most significantly, the company created Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Inc. and put Jason Hall in charge as senior vp. Additionally, a new division called Warner Bros.
