Fox cut back on its order of Dads, which isn’t a good sign for the critically-reviled sitcom.
Sutton Foster has joined the cast of Darren Star‘s TV Land pilot Younger according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series follows a forty-something divorcee who succeeds in lying about her age while restarting her life.
Aw, I miss Bunheads. And not just for the hot marine biologist bartender.
In talking with Vulture, Scandal-creator Shonda Rhimes discusses last week’s shocking opening scene and how it reflects the mindset of the writers’ room. “I feel like we’re fighting against the very traditional idea that we see these people and we identify with them and therefore they must be good. On our show, we see these people and we identify with them — that doesn’t mean they’re good by any stretch of the imagination. Sometimes you love Cyrus, and he is a monster.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton may have been the co-winners of the battle to deliver the best one-liner on this week’s episode of The Voice, but in a surprise turn of events, they lost the war of taking home Most Valuable Judge trophy to Christina Aguilera.
Oh, sure, Blake’s “I almost threw my panties on the stage” was a priceless response to James Massone’s lady-baiting rendition of “Don’t Know Why.” And Adam hit the bullseye poking fun at Blake’s consternation over a group of shirtless male backup dancers: ”I think that Blake just bought a one-way ticket to Boner Town.

Glen highlights the tracks that tend to get aired just a little too often in modern day movies...
There are quite literally millions of songs available on this planet called Earth, catering to all ages and tastes. But in spite of the vastness of this musical back catalogue, there seems to be a small percentage that crop up time and time again in films, depriving other songs of much deserved royalties.
In an attempt to encourage the movers and shakers of the movie industry (like they actually read this) to spread the love, I thought I’d highlight a few songs that have been over-used in the movies.
Just to clarify, I don’t necessarily hate the songs included (except Who Let The Dogs Out, but that’s not really a song). It’s just that I’ve heard enough of them in the movies, and think they should be...

Gamu Nhengu was featured on tonight’s X Factor bootcmap show, trying her hardest to win a spot in the judges houses round.
The Zimbabwean singer, who has lived in Scotland for the last five years, was seen at her initial audition, impressing the judges with her updated version of Katrina And The Waves Walking On Sunshine. The rendition won her a place in bootcamp and a pleased Simon Cowell told her:
Gamu I really really liked you. You have this old school jazz voice and I think you are really talented.
Speaking to the cameras at bootcamp, Gamu spoke about her journey to the show saying:
I originally come from Zimbawee and my mum moved us here because things were getting really bad there. It got to the point when it was hard to get simple things like bread and milk, I’ve wanted to be a singer since I was about ten.

Can you believe these A-listers could turn up looking so together at 8:30 in the morning?
Guess they’re all used to early set calls. In any case, they are clearly pros at putting on party looks no matter what the time of day. Check out Hilary Swank, Eva Longoria, Halle Berrry, and AnnaLynne McCord, who all wowed the red carpet in La for the Women in Entertainment Breakfast on Dec. 4. Hilary chose a blue Brunello Cucineli dress (her second this week!) while Eva stood out in a grey embellished dress and Halle kept her look classic in a suit. AnnaLynne sure didn’t look like a high schooler in high-waisted bell bottoms and a sheer halter.
These classy chicks bring a whole new meaning to girl power!
