Discovery and Australian network Foxtel have unveiled a multi-year partnership that will see Foxtel supplied with thousands of hours of content from TLC, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Turbo and Animal Planet. Subscribers will be able to access the likes of Outback Opal Hunters, Aussie Gold Hunters and Gold Rush on Foxtel and streamer Binge, with a range of box-sets included as part of the deal. The move extends a pre-existing partnership between the two outfits, which Foxtel Group Chief Content and Commercial Officer Amanda Laing said will “enable us to deliver even more of the world’s best factual, documentary and reality content.” Foxtel Media has also renewed its agreement as the exclusive Australian advertising partner for Discovery, Inc.

ITV Studios has reshuffled the management of Eggheads producer 12 Yard following the departure of Andy Culpin to Elisabeth Murdoch-backed 110% Content.
The Weakest Link co-creator Culpin has joined 110% Content, which was set up by former ITV entertainment chief Siobhan Greene, as creative director. The company is backed by Shine Group founder Murdoch. Culpin was Managing Director of 12 Yard.
Michael Mannes, who was Deputy MD of the company, becomes MD following Culpin’s departure after joining the business in 2005. Meanwhile, Liz Gaskell becomes Creative Director.

Take Me Out and Phoenix Nights star Paddy McGuinness is to front a quirky BBC One gameshow from the producers of The Weakest Link and 5 Gold Rings.
Catchpoint is a physical gameshow, which will air on Saturday evening, where contestants must get their hands on answers using their brains and balls. They must answer a series of questions before needing to catch balls of various sizes, which will be dropped from the studio ceiling.
The Wipeout-meets-Millionaire-style quiz is produced by ITV-owned indie Possessed, which is run by former Deal or No Deal banker Glenn Hugill, and Andy Culpin-run 12 Yard. The six-part series is exec produced by Culpin and Hugill and was commissioned by Kalpna Knight-Patel.
ITV Studios Global Entertainment will rep the format and will likely start talking to international broadcasters soon.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have signed up to host a new daytime quiz show on ITV.
The Gift List sees three couples battling it out in a series of quiz rounds, Broadcast reports.
The most successful couple will win both a dream holiday and their own personalised wedding gift list.
Executive producer Andy Culpin described Holmes and Langsford, who tied the knot in 2010, as the "perfect fit for the format".
The news of The Gift List comes shortly after ITV revealed that they have signed up Vernon Kay to host another new daytime quiz show, 1,000 Heartbeats.
The Gift List is expected to launch on ITV in August.

John Barrowman is to host a new daytime quiz for BBC One.
Pressure Pad will see contestants face general knowledge questions as they are "put under pressure" by an interactive Led underfloor, Broadcast reports.
BBC One is said to have ordered 25 episodes of the gameshow, from 12 Yard Productions.
"Pressure Pad's interactive floor makes for a visually spectacular quiz show, and John Barrowman is the perfect frontman to bring the format's addictive play-along rounds to life," said 12 Yard's Andy Culpin.
Barrowman was also recently confirmed to host celebrity singing competition Sing Your Face Off for Us network ABC.
The actor and TV host recently wed his long-term partner Scott Gill, after gay marriage was legalised in the state of California.
