Vice TV and Shout! Studios have acquired North American rights from London-based Canoe Film to the SXSW Air Jordan documentary One Man And His Shoes.
The film chronicles the story behind Nike’s bestselling Air Jordan sneakers inspired by basketball legend Michael Jordan, and explores their social, cultural, and racial significance, as well as the dark side of success.
Jordan’s close friends and associates are on camera, including former National Basketball Association commissioner David J Stern, Air Jordan 1 shoe designer Peter Moore, and sports writers Jamele Hill and Scoop Jackson.

Is Justin Bieber actually a baby baller? In a recent clip from "The Diary of Justin Bieber" (airing Sunday at 7:30 p.m. on MTV), we saw him put on a dribbling display, drive the lane for two, and — perhaps most notably — drain a shot from half court.
It was a performance so impressive that it led Newsroom blog editor Kyle Anderson to compare the Biebs' skills to those of Steve Nash, Mookie Blaylock and Lil Romeo — a pretty impressive trio, if you ask us. But what does an actual expert think of Bieber's basketball abilities?
