The Big Brother series has become a staple of the CBS summer schedule. Will this chnage help or hinder the longtime series' ratings? Could Big Brother be cancelled or is it sure to be renewed for season 26? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.

The Big Brother house will be filling up with HouseGuests next summer. CBS has renewed the reality series for a 26th season. The 25th anniversary season finished airing in November. It had an extended 42-episode run due to the industry strikes.

The Big Brother 26 season appears destined for a shorter run than Big Brother 25.
With two Hollywood strikes happening, the BB25 cast played the game longer than any previous houseguests.
Jag Bains beat Matt Klotz on Day 100 of Big Brother 26, making it the longest season in history.
Since many scripted dramas and comedies at CBS — NCIS, FBI, Fire Country, etc. — were delayed in production, it left timeslots open for shows like Big Brother.
Now that the strikes have ended, CBS can return to its regular fall programming, and that’s exactly what they announced this week.
Shows like NCIS: Origins were added to the CBS primetime schedule, and many hit shows are returning for new episodes in September of 2024.
Big Brother 26 is likely a shorter season
As some fans may remember, the BB25 finale happened in November. The season ran from August 2 to November 9.

Big Brother 24 winner Taylor Hale shared some fun new videos about her relationship with Joseph Abdin.
Taylor and Joseph met as BB24 cast members, and it looked like they were developing feelings for one another.
An official showmance for Jaylor never panned out, mostly because Joseph was evicted during the infamous Split House twist.
As a reminder, the BB24 cast was split in half midway through the season, with half the players forced to live a week in the backyard.
Joseph recently posted a remark about his BB24 elimination, answering a query from host Julie Chen Moonves about the most memorable Double Evictions.
After playing Big Brother, Taylor and Joseph reunited in the real world, where they began a romantic relationship. The couple didn’t remain together but have stayed very close since then.

“I’ve been hacked on twitter,” Big Brother alum Felicia Cannon wrote on Instagram.
“Sahana, get out of my twitter account,” she concluded the post.
In a scathing video posted to her Instagram account, Felicia told her followers that her Twitter account (now known as X) had been hacked.
“Why do people do this? This is the negativity of social media,” Felicia said in part of the long live video she shared.
Felicia understandably drags the person she feels has taken over her account. She hopes to find a way to get it back.
The Big Brother 25 alum is very upset about what has happened and wants everyone to know about it. She also has a warning for anyone else who might try it.

Felicia’s full video is shared below, where she warns anyone who might try to hack her other social media accounts.

Plenty of “Big Brother” history was made Thursday night when host Julie Chen Moonves declared Jag Bains the Season 25 winner over runner-up Matt Klotz. The 25-year old from Omak, Washington became the first Sikh contestant to win the game after becoming the first member of the community ever cast earlier this year. He took home $750,000 when the jury voted 5-2 in his favor.
Heading into the night Jag had already set the record for most Power of Veto wins in a single season, with seven, but after winning the final Hoh competition (his third), he also became the biggest comp beast ever with a total tally of 10. The previous record was held by Janelle Pierzina with nine victories in Season 7.

The mustard seed’s power just ran out in the end. After surviving the block seven times on “Big Brother 25,” Felicia Cannon was evicted on Sunday in fourth place to become the sixth jury member after Jag cast the sole vote to evict. For a brief spell, it seemed like Jag would keep Felicia, the weaker competitor, over Matt, but he ultimately refused to betray his Minutemen and Mafia ally. And Felicia knew it.
“For whatever reason, it wasn’t meant for me to win and that’s why I was at peace. I knew I was leaving yesterday before the vote. I never even asked Jag had he made his final decision because I already knew,” she says in a pooled exit interview. “Every time I was up on that block, I knew if I was staying or going. I would get nervous, but I always knew I was staying.

Not even the faith of a mustard seed could save Felicia Cannon on Sunday night’s episode of “Big Brother.” The 63-year old real estate agent from Kennesaw, Georgia was evicted by a vote of 1-0 on Day 96 over Matt Klotz, making her the sixth member of the jury. After winning the final Power of Veto, Jag Bains decided to evict Felicia after giving some serious thought to axing his fellow “Minuteman” just days before the final. In the end, he held true to his alliance and will be joined by Matt and Bowie Jane on finale night.
“He really has a loyalty to Matt,” Felicia told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview. “I appreciate that kind of loyalty. They were true friends in there. I was too, but they were connected from day one. There was something with them — I couldn’t bust into that.” Loyalty aside,...

Jag Bains made history on “Big Brother 25” Sunday night when he claimed his seventh Power of Veto, passing Michael Bruner‘s previous record of six he set just last year. Unlike Michael, Jag was able to secure a place in the season finale which will air Thursday, November 9 on CBS. After winning the Veto, the 25-year old from Omak, Washington cast the sole vote to evict Felicia Cannon. Next he will face off against Bowie Jane and Matt Klotz in the two-part final Hoh competition. The winner of that will decide who the jury votes for as the Season 25 champ and the $750,000 grand prize.

Heading into Sunday’s live eviction episode of “Big Brother 25,” the penultimate Head of Household of the season had just been crowned: Bowie Jane. For nine long years, Derrick Levasseur held the “Big Brother” record for lasting the most days in the house without ever being nominated for eviction. The Rhode Island police sergeant ended Season 16 on Day 97 as the ultimate winner, having never set foot on the block. Now, his record has been beaten by an unlikely houseguest from Season 25: Bowie Jane.
This Australian DJ didn’t know much about the game of “Big Brother” before being cast in the longest-ever season in the summer of 2023. However, after winning the most recent Head of Household competition on the November 2 episode, Bowie is now guaranteed to make it to the final day in the house, Day 100, without ever touching the block.

She had a nice run, but “Survivor” legend Cirie Fields became the 13th houseguest to exit the “Big Brother 25” house (and fifth to join the jury) when she was evicted by a vote of 2-0 Thursday night. The 53-year old surgical director from Walterboro, South Carolina was ousted on Day 93 over Felicia Cannon. Head of Household Matt Klotz had his target on Felicia, but Jag Bains and Bowie Jane had the voting power and saw Cirie as the bigger threat to their game.
“Absolutely not,” Cirie told host Julie Chen Moonves when she was asked if she ever felt safe. “Mecole was the pawn. You never want to be in a pawn position because typically the pawn goes home and I tried to impress that on Matt, but Jag has him. Mama Felicia or Mama Cirie: which of these fan-favorites was about to be evicted from the “Big Brother 25” house? Their downfall started when Matt Klotz won Head of Household and nominated both of them for eviction, despite telling them that Bowie Jane was his real target. But Bowie was really a part of the Final 3 “Mafia” alliance between Matt, Bowie and Jag Bains, and once Jag won the Power of Veto, it was all over for one of the two Mamas. So who ended up leaving the house in fifth place?

The November 2 episode of “Big Brother 25” will end with either Cirie Fields or Felicia Cannon being eliminated in fifth place. They were both nominated by Head of Household Matt Klotz earlier in the week, and after Matt’s ride-or-die Jag Bains won the Power of Veto, it essentially cemented his two nominations. Big Brother Season 25 Week 13 is here after the last double eviction. America Lopez and Blue Kim headed to the jury after facing eviction, which leaves Matt Klotz, Jag Bains, Bowie Jane, Cirie Fields, and Felicia Cannon in the game. Unfortunately, it looks like reality TV queen Cirie is in trouble this week. Here’s what’s going on.
[Spoiler alert: Big Brother Season 25 Week 13 spoilers ahead.]
Cirie Fields is likely the next evicted houseguest in ‘Big Brother’ Season 25 Week 13
Trouble is likely ahead for Cirie Fields in Big Brother Season 25 Week 13. Last week, Cirie evaded eviction while Blue Kim and America Lopez got the boot and are now part of the jury. But she and Felicia Cannon are back on the block in week 13, and Matt Klotz, Jag Bains, and Bowie Jane are leaning toward evicting the Survivor alums.

When we last recorded power rankings for “Big Brother 25” it was when Matt Klotz and Jag Bains were still utilizing Cameron Hardin to their advantage under the mask of a “Fugitives” alliance in the Top 10. Since then, Matt and Jag orchestrated the eviction of Cameron and stand alone as the “Minutemen,” a two-player alliance that has ruled the late-game with an iron fist. Standing ini the way of Matt and Jag are Cirie Fields, Felicia Cannon and Bowie Jane, three players all under the impression that they’re the ideal third wheel to Matt and Jag’s plans. But with the November 9 finale night looming, only one of their plans will play out through to the end.
Below, read our third and final power rankings of the season for the Top 5 as we consider how the season will finish with only two houseguests sitting in the finale chairs in front of their jury of seven.

And then there were five. After the double evictions of Blue Kim and America Lopez, the remaining “Big Brother 25” houseguests competed in the Final 5 Head of Household competition to see who would win power for the week. Outgoing Hoh Bowie Jane was not eligible to compete, but the others all duked it out in the backyard, with the ultimate winner going on to nominate two houseguests for eviction. So how did it all play out on Sunday night?

America Lopez became the 12th houseguest to exit the “Big Brother 25” house (and fourth to join the jury) when she was evicted by a vote of 3-0 Thursday night. The 27-year old medical receptionist from Brooklyn, New York was ousted on Day 87 over Felicia Cannon. Head of Household Bowie Jane kept it simple when she came into power on double eviction night. She held true to her final three deal with Jag Bains and Matt Klotz while targeting two people she actually had a chance to beat on finale night.
“I knew they were coming after me,” America told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview. “It was between me and Felicia! Of course they’re gonna keep her over me. It’s Matt and Jag. I don’t trust them. I said that I was coming after them! I told everybody that I was coming after them. I didn’t stand a chance.

For the second time this season, two houseguests were about to be evicted on “Big Brother 25.” However, unlike the last double eviction, there would be no zombie comeback twist to save one of their games. The first person booted would be either America Lopez or Blue Kim, as they were both nominated by Head of Household Jag Bains. Following that ouster, we would see an entire week’s worth of gameplay, with an Hoh comp, a nominations ceremony, a Veto challenge, a Veto meeting and a second eviction.

‘Big Brother’s’ Matt Klotz in tears over hearing disability, says constant whispering ‘takes a toll’
Emotions always run high in the “Big Brother” house, but one contestant became increasingly distraught throughout the past week as his disability had a swelling impact on his game. Matt Klotz, a 27-year old swimmer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, broke down in tears while whispers swirled throughout the house. But it wasn’t because of the lies and backstabbing going on, it was because he simply couldn’t hear.

CBS’s Big Brother 25 took an unlikely turn in week 10. Bowie Jane won the Head of Household competition, putting her in a position of power she hasn’t had yet. She initially put Felicia Cannon and Cirie Fields up for nomination — but after the Power of Veto in week 10, she performed a gutsy move and nominated Cameron Hardin to the block. Here’s why Cameron’s likely headed home this week, according to Big Brother Season 25 spoilers.

Cirie Fields claims she will ‘never, ever, ever’ return for a ‘Big Brother’ All-Stars season [Watch]
Earlier this week in the “Big Brother 25” house, reality TV legend Cirie Fields — who, we’ll remind you, has played “Survivor” a whopping four times — claimed she’s forever done with “Bb” after her first season wraps up in November. “I think about the people who come back two or three times,” said her housemate Felicia Cannon, referring to former “Big Brother” contestants who return for various All-Stars seasons. Cirie replied matter-of-factly that she’ll “never” return to the house. And in case that wasn’t strong enough, she then added, “I’m never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever … And it’s on tape.”

Mecole Hayes became the eighth houseguest to exit the “Big Brother” house when she was evicted by a vote of 7-0 on Thursday night. The 30-year old political consultant from Upper Marlboro, Maryland was ousted on Day 65 over Felicia Cannon. Head of Household Cameron Hardin was targeting Felicia, but the house flipped after deciding the 63-year old would be easier to beat in future competitions. Mecole is the final houseguest to leave the house before jury. She walked out guns blazing, calling out Cory Wurtenberger and America Lopez for their shady gameplay and alliance with Bowie Jane Ball.
“I know sabotage when I see it,” Mecole told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview. “They spent all season trying to be my friend and they wanted to work together. The reality is I never trusted them and they never trusted me.” Despite Cameron telling Mecole she was the pawn this week,...
