Three days ago, we posted the first artwork for the upcoming Japanese action flick “Iron Girl”. In the article, yours truly theorized that the film would either be a low-budget actioner or a cheap slice of wonky erotica designed by a country that specializes in wonky erotica. Turns out that the truth, as usual, lies somewhere in-between. “Iron Girl” is a low-budget erotic actioner featuring curvy Japanese actresses performing dodgy martial arts in various isolated locations. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, as you’re about to find out. “Iron Girl”, which stars Asuka Kirara, Rina Akiyama, and Yasushia Furuhar, among others, lands in Japan on July 21st, 2012. Stop whatever it is you’re doing and watch the trailer embedded below. Even if you think it’s smellier than 20 rotting anuses, chances are it’ll make you smile...

Director: Gô Ohara
Writer: Hisakatsu Kuroki (screenplay)
Stars: Rina Akiyama, Ruito Aoyagi and Asami
The Japanese certainly love their fetishes. The product does not have to be just the obligatory panty shot, but in the magazines, books or films that are exported to other countries, those booty shots certainly gets plenty of attention. Or one can simply watch Gothic and Lolita Psycho. This film explores more than just its namesake. It gets tongue-in-cheek in its tale of thirst and revenge.
The budget may be cheap, but that's the style director Gô Ohara likes to use. Special Effects creator Yoshihiro Nishimura is not at the top of his form this time around. Unlike Tokyo Gore Police or Frankenstein Girl vs Vampire Girl, the gore is very tame in comparison. Some of the maiming happens off screen and when it comes down to straight decapitation, there isn't that much innovation going on.

Having watched the pair of trailers for Go Ohara and Yoshihiro Nishimura’s upcoming action-packed gorefest “Gothic and Lolita Psycho” several times now, I’ve decided that I’m going to sell all of my worldly possessions, move to Japan, learn the language, and spend the rest of my days soaking up the country’s cinematic insanity. Truthfully, you don’t need to know what the film’s about to appreciate the trailers embedded below, especially if you’re well-versed in the ways of “Tokyo Gore Police” and “The Machine Girl”. In other words, expect plenty of wanton bloodshed and arterial sprays galore. Here’s the plot, courtesy of Nippon Cinema: The film stars actress and gravure idol Rina Akiyama as Yuki, a girl who lives at home in peace until one day a unit of assassins breaks in and slaughters her mother. In order to reveal the truth behind the seemingly senseless murder,...

A subtitled trailer has been released for Go Ohara‘s upcoming action/gore film Gothic & Lolita Psycho, and lest there be any doubt that this film is intended to be completely tongue-in-cheek, there’s also a gag version to go with it—complete with ridiculous voice-overs and hyperactive over-explanation.
The film stars actress and gravure idol Rina Akiyama as Yuki, a girl who lives at home in peace until one day a unit of assassins breaks in and slaughters her mother.
In order to reveal the truth behind the seemingly senseless murder, Yuki transforms herself into a demon of vengeance by donning gothic lolita clothing, wielding a parasol as a deadly weapon, and executing the guilty in the name of God.
Dhe will be releasing “Gothic & Lolita Psycho” at Theater N Shibuya on September 4, 2010.
Both versions of the trailer have copious gore/splatter thanks to the handiwork of Yoshihiro Nishimura...

Earlier today, details of director Go Ohara‘s next film Gothic & Lolita Psycho (Gosurori Shokei-nin) were finally sent out to the Japanese media. Unfortunately, the Japanese press release doesn’t seem to have much more information than was initially revealed when the project was first announced via the English-language genre film site 24Framespersecond.net back in December.

A young actress with a strange attraction to "fat, weird-looking guys" falls for an indie film director with just the right ungainly profile in Heibon Punch, which opens in Japan on November 22. The twist? Whenever the filmmaker returns her attentions, "he magically transforms into a handsome man that she finds repulsive." Oh, and then she murders a rival actress and goes on the run with the director, who decides to make a movie out of it. Sounds like a lighter version of Natural Born Killers, that is, if Oliver Stone decided to make a romantic comedy instead of a bloody media satire. Nippon Cinema found the (Nsfw) trailer and Japanese-language official site.
The film stars Rina Akiyama as the ambitious thespian and Sakichi Satô, who also directed and scripted, as the director. Satô has written for Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Gozu), proving that he has a wild and perverse imagination,...
