- Élodie Gossuin is a French beauty pageant title holder and television personality. She was born in Reims in the department of Marne, but was raised in the region of Picardy. She won several local beauty contests as a teenager, and won the Miss Picardy contest in 2000, which gave her the opportunity to be qualified for the Miss France 2001 contest and be the winner. She later participated at the Miss Universe 2001 contest and was ranked in the Top 10. She also won the Miss Europe 2001 contest and began a modeling career right after, becoming the spokesmodel for various brands. Since 2005, Élodie Gossuin has had an important career on television, appearing in many television programs both as a presenter and a contestant. She has participated in a number of game shows such as Mot de passe (2009) where she has been a regular contestant, Fort Boyard (1990) where she has participated six times between 2001 and 2012, and Qui veut gagner des millions?
