Third baseman with the San Francisco Giants (1996-2000 & 2002[end]),
Chicago Cubs (2001-2002[start]), Boston Red Sox
(2003-2005), and Los Angeles Dodgers (2006).
Won the AL Batting Title in 2003 with .324 in his first season with the
Red Sox. Beat out teammate Manny Ramirez who followed closely
behind.
Is a switch hitter. And is the only player to hit 2 grand slams from
each side of the plate in a single game.
Played for the Southwest Missouri State College baseball team.
