- Mitch Morris earned a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law and is a member of the State Bar of California.
- In June 2017, there was an event at Sarah Lawrence College called "From A to LGBTQ" that celebrated Gay Pride month with writers who read a series of personal essays on coming up, coming out, and coming to terms. Morris publicly read his essay titled "Little Boys Don't Say Things Like That", which is what his mother had said to him, after he had told her that he liked another boy when he was five years old. He wouldn't come out to his mother again, until many years later.
