Io Interactive, a Square Enix studio, has announced a brand new way to buy Hitman. Read on for more info, including when you can purchase it.
In the many years that I have been gaming, I have seen countless ploys video game companies have attempted in order to encourage gamers to purchase their next big game, including preorder incentives. However, I don't think I've ever seen what Square Enix is trying to do.
On March 11th, 2016, gamers can buy Hitman at the standard price of $59.99. Included in it will be Three Massive Sandbox Maps, Future Maps, Contract Modes, Six Campaign Missions, and Live Content/Events. Now, what if you weren't sure about Hitman? What if you didn't quite want to spend close to $60. Well, my frugal gamer friend, Square Enix has a package just for you!

Here at Gold Derby, our Editors often engage in lively battles and strong disagreements over who's out front to win reality TV and awards shows. That's why it's so strange to see Editor Matt Noble and I actually in agreement for once. When it comes to the current 29th season of "Survivor: San Juan del Sur," we both think that 20-year-old Baylor Wilson, a student at Belmont University, has what it takes to be the ultimate Survivor and win the $1 million prize. If Baylor does claim victory, she will join the ranks of only 12 other female winners. Compare that total to the 16 male winners who've won and it's clear women are outnumbered on the list of who's outwitted, outplayed and outlasted over the past 28 seasons. (See our complete photo gallery of past "Survivor" winners below.) -Break- Psst: Here's how to predict reality TV shows and win bragging rights And prizes!

Let's address the 800-lb. gorilla in the room... Hatchet County has Nothing to do with Adam Green's Hatchet franchise. Instead this is a beast of a different kind that's trying to make the same kind of impression.
Adam Hulin directs for Eldorado Road Productions. Matthew B. Moore, Brett Mullen, and Sky Tilly tackled the story, and the screenplay comes courtesy of Matthew B. Moore.
Synopsis
The year is 1869, and Hell has scratched its way into post-Civil War Virginia. Murder's become common talk, and fear crushes the region. With hope and morality slipping from the inhabitants of Hatchet County, they call on a rogue legion of heroes to drive the evil back to where it came.

This episode was loaded with big moments -- tearful goodbyes, weepy flashbacks, rollercoaster plot twists, and more than one character was sent packing. In truth, the body count was pretty damn high. Given we had so much to digest, I'm not sure I felt the feels I was expecting. Too often I felt as if I was cued by the music to register, "Now Feel Some Epic Sad, Dammit," before the plot whirled on to other matters. Anyway, one of the epic sads (more or less) was Nadia's untimely passing due to Tyler's hybrid bite. I got the impression that there were probably more flashbacks before the script was rewritten (just a guess), because the ones we did get felt too short to really tell us anything we didn't already know. Hey, she's looking for her mom! And, again, she's looking for her mom! Hey Matt, I'm looking for my mom!

Previously, on The Vampire Diaries
Over at the Frankenstein place, Doctor Evil has Jesse strapped to his gurney. He has inexplicably put Jesse’s shirt back on.
But let’s pretend he didn’t.
It’s been about two weeks since Jesse was turned and Doctor Evil has been running experiments on him. Tonight’s experiment involves transfusing “undiluted Augustine blood” into Jesse’s veins. Jesse revives and exhibits greater than expected strength. Doctor Evil moves to stop the transfusion but Jesse snaps his chains and downs the entire blood bag. Doctor Evil runs for the “emergency measures” panic button but Jesse zhoops over and blocks him. I’d be wearing that panic button like a Life Alert. Jesse vamps out and sinks his fangs into Doctor Evil.
Why does every vampire victim look like they’re making their O-face?
Title card!

Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) fight and just after Klaus finished redecorating too. Never mind not much damage was done. Elijah warns if Klaus uses the dagger he'll have Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) to deal with, Kol being another sibling and original. Klaus admits to killing Mikael with his own dagger. Klaus agrees to tell him things he didn't want to disclose before. He also recalls the oath of loyalty Elijah gave him and Klaus needs him by his side in order to destroy Stefan (Paul Wesley) and their family will be together once more. Alaric (Matt Davis) admits to calling Meredith (Torrey DeVitto) when he was drunk. The sheriff (Marguerite MacIntyre) tells him and Elena (Nina Dobrev) of Brian's death with a stake which was taken from Elena's parent's lakehouse cabin. It has Elena's prints on it, well duh. Elena calls Damon (Ian Somerhalder) who suggests she should ask Alaric about the doctor.

Right! It’s another caffeine fuelled night ahead of us as we prepare to liveblog the 84th Academy Awards.
The Artist is the favourite to scoop up the awards tonight, which would round off a grand few days for Michel Hazanavicius and his silent film which run rampant through the Cesars and Independent Spirit awards but we may see Martin Scorsese’s Hugo do well with Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Meryl Streep and Viola Davis front runners for the acting awards.
Whether you agree with the relevance and importance of the Oscars it is the one night of the year when a huge amount of people are talking and celebrating movies, and that can only be a good thing. Debate will begin with the first award and continue with every golden envelope opened.
So, join us below, or on Twitter at @HeyUGuys for our take on film’s biggest night.

In this week’s Confused Views, Matt tries to befriend George Lucas via email. The results are somewhat strange...
After my relationship with pen pal and soul mate Jerry Bruckheimer fell apart, I gave up on friendship. There was no one to blame – sometimes these things just don’t work out.
That being said, I gave him everything I had to give. I expressed the fiercely burning passion of my soul to him, and in response he accused me of “Attempting to gain access to his house while disguised as an army general”, like that’s some kind of crime.
Perhaps because his eyes, much like all of his facial features, are so small, he was unable to see true friendship. Jerry and I don’t talk anymore, and that hurts a lot.
I decided I would spend the rest of my life completely alone, with only my wife, children and friends for company.

"The Vampire Diaries" is back, finally! (Be grateful... not every CW show was so lucky this week.) Tonight's episode had all the things we love best about the show - romance, blood, action, shirtlessness, and good old fashioned teen angst.
(Not to mention a hefty helping of centenarian angst, too. I'm looking at you, Damon Salvatore.)
After a long week of exhaustive "Tvd" coverage (check out what you missed here) I've had enough stalling, and I just want to watch the freaking show. Hit the play button on those DVRs.
8:00 - Previously on the Vampire Diaries, we found out that Rose (Lauren Cohan) will probably die. I... really wish I could care, but I have to admit that the werewolf bite "cliffhanger" made the winter hiatus much more bearable.
8:02 - I love that our first really threatening, animalistic werwolf is a chick. Jules (Michaela McManus) is an amazing character.

The "Big Brother 12" Zingbot 3000 was in the house for last week's Power of Veto competition -- but CBS has released some unaired footage of the 'bot's best zings.
The Zingbot dishes out:
**Hayden, Justin Bieber just called. He wants his hairdo back.
**Britney, I heard you got engaged. My congratulations to you and your brother.
**Hey Brendon, I thought I was made of a lot of silicone ... until I met your girlfriend.
**Hey Matt, when you go back to Middle Earth, please tell the other hobbits I said hello.
**Hey Meow Meow, what's your wife nickname? Woof woof?
And our personal favorite:
**Pull over, Kathy. You're going 40 in a 25 zone.
We love how the house doesn't get the Kathy joke until the Zingbot explains it. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer, huh? The Ragan zing we could not make out after several listens, so if you figure it out,...

1. Hello Bruce, when writing for The Pacific, you have great source material in the books and well documented life stories to work from. But much of the actual day to day words and thoughts of the characters come directly from your pen. How much influence does casting play in the writing of the characters? Do you rewrite scenes which seemed to work on paper but you realise wouldn't work so well with the actor playing the role? Does the particular character or physical traits of the actor influence your writing as the series is shot? Thanks :) -SimpleSimon, MakingOf Forums
Hey SimpleSimon. Yeah, the actors really influence the writing, once they have absorbed the characters. Not so much at the beginning of the show, but as we progressed, they had a lot of input into dialogue. You have to trust that they understand the men they are portraying. Quite often...
