Rene Teboe is a graduate of the University of Miami. In the Theater
Department, he has played roles such as Bill Hutchinson in The Lottery
and Daisy in Baby With The Bathwater. He has also appeared as Mr.
Lindquist in the Ring Theater's production of A Little Night Music.
Since graduating college, Rene Teboe has appeared on stage in several
musicals in roles such as Big Deal in West Side Story, Cliff Bradshaw
in Cabaret, and Hero in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.
For a while, Rene Teboe performed as a singer in the Lee Pittman
Players and in the late Forrest Willingham's Songs of Broadway. In
addition to performing at such venues as the Hollywood Playhouse, Rene
studied at Ilse Earl's Miami Actors' Studio where he played Ray in Lone
Star and Lew Fine in Clara. He also played a lawyer in Earl's video
production of An Attorney Prepares. Rene played a U.S. soldier in The
Sara Borginis story, a short film made for the Armed Forces Television
as well as appearing in commercials for Chevrolet and Budweiser. His
film work includes not only the ones listed here in IMDb, but also as
leads in two college films, one of which won first place in a national
short film contest.
