Helldivers 2 community has been fighting hard on the battlefield to stop the Terminid and Automaton forces from taking over. Now, they have been provided with two options: Liberate either Choohe or Penta, and depending on the outcome, players will get either the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines or the Rl-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher. During this Major Order, an X post from Helldivers’ official page gave players a piece of advice if they feel like they are outnumbered. Naturally, players would want to liberate both Choohe and Penta but recently, they learned the hard way that they can’t save everyone.
Helldivers 2
During a recent Major Order, gamers were able to convince Game Master Joel to liberate Charon Prime if they liberate Martale as these two sectors are interlinked. Unfortunately, in the end, none of them were liberated and a community manager also explained that players need to start making wise decisions moving forward.

Mysterious cloaked ships have been bothering Helldivers for some time now. Similarly, Helldivers 2 players have also struggled with adapting to newer updates that come with new planetary hazards. Meanwhile, developer Arrowhead has been trying their best to make the game flawless with newer patches.
Helldivers 2
Likewise, the game received another patch recently, which made considerable changes to the game.
Helldivers 2 new Aerial Gunships
Helldivers 2’s alien robot faction, Automatons, will now have access to new aerial gunships. These were launched with a recently completed Major Order. These gunships are causing mass destruction on the battlefield by firing deadly red lasers from the sky.
Aerial gunships
Fortunately, the aerial gunships can be destroyed. However, for that the players will need to have adequate powerful weaponry at their disposal. Some heavy-duty Stratagems such as the Expendable Anti-Tank as well as the recently released Quasar Cannon seem to be appropriate for facing aerial gunships.

Star Wars: The Acolyte will take audiences back to the High Republic era of the franchise, a period in which the Jedi were at their height. Naturally, we will meet plenty of Jedi in the upcoming series, including Jecki Lon, a Padawan played by Logan star Dafne Keen.
Jecki Lon is the Padawan to Jedi Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae), and Dafne Keen spoke with Entertainment Weekly about her character. “Well, I’m very excited that we know her name now, because it was secret for so long,” Keen said. “And I’m very happy that I get to say that she’s an alien and that she’s a Padawan and that she’s a Jedi. She’s a mixed species — part Theelin, part human. She’s very cool and I have some very cool fights I do with the lightsaber. I really love her. She’s a great character...

Out of nowhere, their game gets hacked- Total disaster! Now, these guys are drowning in debt, owing money left, right, and center, but they’re not giving up. They put their heads together and came up with a genius plan: they’re going to turn a temple into a goldmine through rebranding, establishing a proper target audience, and making millions in a few months, as most temples do. Netflix’s latest Thai Crime Drama is about a group of teenagers caught up in a vicious web of lies when they decide to make money off of organized religion, the biggest business in the world. The scriptures from every faith talk about the consequences of greed. In Buddhism, as well, greed is an evil which leads to the suffering of mankind. Drawing parallels with the principles of Buddhist spirituality, The Believers shows how greed leads the protagonists into problems that they never even would’ve come across in the first place.
Part of the reason I have developed disdain for the capitalist system is because it always sweeps people into this whirlwind of endless greed. We can call it human nature, yes, but again, a market system incentivised by dopamine-rich end results in exchange for blood can only lead to further corruption of the human mind. In this system,...

In The Believers, Win, Dear, and Game were friends running an Nft game called Pirate’s Hell. This naive group of teenagers didn’t really grasp the harsh realities of the world until after they borrowed a significant amount of money from some shady loan sharks. Despite their initial success, the price of their NFTs plummets, wiping out all the profits they had anticipated. This, however, is just the start of their problems. When the loan sharks demand repayment, Win resorts to the world’s oldest business to make money, dragging his friends along with him.
Considering the theme of this series, I think The Believers, in itself, draws parallels with the Buddhist parable about Mittavinda’s greed and how it leads him to suffer. We see a plethora of characters caught up in an endless web of greed, tumbling down like a domino sequence that starts with a group of teenagers pursuing instant gratification.

Helldivers 2 is still going strong with an increasing player base since launch and Arrowhead Game Studios is ecstatic with the game’s future. Players have praised the game for its graphics, stressful but fun combat, and difficult enemies, however, someone from within the ranks of Arrowhead Studios made it even harder than it is after assuming the role of Game Master.
Johan Pilestedt is the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios and has confirmed that one of their employees who goes by Joel acts as the Game Master of Helldivers 2. As Game Master, Joel is the only one who knows all and sees all. He can manipulate the battle to his liking and can either choose to assist players in the Galactic War or give them a massive headache. Recent activities suggest he is turning a new leaf.

Joel from Helldivers 2 is going through a redemption arc.

Set to release on Feb. 23, the seven-track instrumental EP is Big Duke’s first full-length solo project and features a wide range of productions, from dark and vibey cuts to more upbeat and melodic tracks.
“I just wanted to really tap into the producer community more,” Malloy said. “A lot of my work nowadays is more so industry stuff, like commercial release stuff, so I want to get back to me. The essence of why I started making music and producing was just because I was inspired to.

The 22 continuing series leads currently nominated for Primetime Emmys hail from 18 different programs each consisting of up to half a dozen seasons. When it comes to determining which four will triumph, a great deal of insight can be gained by examining past victories with regard to how long the winning performers had been playing their characters. Naturally, seven decades’ worth of results indicate significant consistency in terms of how long it takes series stars to win the favor of the TV academy.
Considering all four categories in which comedy and drama series leads compete, the largest subgroup of victors (28.7%) is made up of those who were honored for their first seasons. During the 2020s, this roster has grown to include Zendaya (“Euphoria”), Jean Smart (“Hacks”), Jason Sudeikis (“Ted Lasso”), and Lee Jung-jae (“Squid Game”) and could gain as many as four new members this year. We’re big fans of Aardman Animation here at Film Stories Towers. With the new Chicken Run sequel out soon, this week’s film quiz covers their cracking canon to date…
Why did the chicken cross the road? Well, since Netflix has cracked down on password-sharing, it’s might go and watch Chicken Run: Dawn Of The Nugget at a mate’s house when the long-awaited sequel drops next week. It doesn’t seem that long ago that Game sniped at Jay-Z with the line: “You 38 and still rappin’? Ugh!” from his 2006 track “It’s Okay (One Blood).” Yet some of this era’s biggest rap heroes are nearing — and above — forty. A “Tale Of The Tape” scene in the music video for Drake and J. Cole’s recent collaboration “First Person Shooter” displayed them at 37 and 38 years old, respectively. There was a time when rappers wouldn’t be so forthcoming about pushing 40, but rap’s “too old” stigma has...

Two years ago, “Succession” earned all of its first three Best TV Drama Actor SAG Award nominations at once and thus made history as the first series to take up that many slots in one of said category’s annual lineups. Unfortunately, Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, and Jeremy Strong all ended up losing that contest to Lee Jung-jae (“Squid Game”), but each now has a final chance at redemption. In fact, Gold Derby’s SAG Awards odds indicate that the concluded HBO program is on the verge of racking up an unprecedented four individual male bids in 2024, with a five-slot sweep also well within the realm of possibility.
More than three-quarters of our SAG Awards predictors are backing Culkin in this year’s drama actor race, while his on-screen sister, Sarah Snook, has even more support in the corresponding female category. Our current male top five further includes Strong as...

After bidding adieu to Drax the Destroyer with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Dave Bautista has set his next movie: action-comedy The Killer’s Game.
Lionsgate has come aboard the long-in-development project, acquiring worldwide distribution rights and setting J.J. Perry, the stuntman who made his directorial debut with Day Shift, to helm the feature.
Lionsgate will launch sales of Game at the Cannes film market, with production to begin this summer.
Based on a novel by Jay Bonansinga, Game follows a veteran assassin named Joe Flood (Bautista) who is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. In order to set up his loved one financially, he authorizes a kill on himself. However, after ordering the kill, he finds out that he was misdiagnosed and must then fend off the army of former colleagues trying to take him out.
Rand Ravich and Simon Kinberg wrote the script, which has recent rewrites by James Coyne.

While many fans are still waiting to see Lucasfilm develop live-action projects set during The Old Republic that explores things like the Sith Empire (long before the Rule of Two) and origins of the Jedi Order, there was a bit of a compromise with the publishing side creating The High Republic setting. It takes place between the Skywalker Saga and The Old Republic. While it had been mostly relegated to books and comics, the upcoming Disney+ series “The Acolyte” will cover the tail end of that era of “Star Wars.”

“Better Call Saul” has been nominated for a remarkable 46 Emmys over the course of its run, but just as remarkably the show hasn’t won a single one of them. Can Bob Odenkirk break that curse this year by winning Best Drama Actor for the show’s final episodes? The Best Drama Actor line-up is one of the toughest to predict at the 2023 Emmys, as the last two winners — Lee Jung-jae (“Squid Game”) and Josh O’Connor (“The Crown”) — won’t be back to reclaim their prizes. That opens up the door for a whole host of new and returning leading men to contend for the gold, and one person who shouldn’t be counted out is Antony Starr (“The Boys”). He was recently nominated at the Critics Choice Awards for the first time, proving he’s an actor on the rise thanks to the popular Amazon Prime Video comic book adaptation.

Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area is a South Korean remake of the Spanish hit, La Casa de Papel, starring Park Hae-soo (Squid Game).
The series is directed by Kim Hong-sun (Luca).
Plot
The story takes off in an era when North and South Korea are reunited. A professor gathers a group of talented thieves from both regions to carry out a heist of the recently minted coin.
About the Series
In the recently added episodes we are offered more action than in its predecessor, and a more elaborate production. However, it does not impress in its premise that is quite similar, perhaps, too much.
Ideal for thriller and action fans. This Netflix series is now in its second season.

Christina Ricci is arguably one of the most successful former child actors to have gotten their start in the 1990s, as she has maintained a consistent career since debuting in the film “Mermaids” at the age of 10. Having already played starring roles on the 2010s TV series “Pan Am” and “Z: The Beginning of Everything,” she is now a regular on Showtime’s “Yellowjackets.” Her portrayal of Misty Quigley, a middle-aged nurse who survived a plane crash as a teenager, has given her a popularity boost and could now earn her an Emmy for Best Drama Supporting Actress.

The Hollywood Critics Association Awards happened this weekend with them splitting the ceremony into two nights: the first dedicated to broadcast and cable, the second night devoted on streaming.
The Hca’s big cable winner actually went to two shows in a tie, with AMC’s Better Call Saul and HBO’s Succession splitting the award for Best Cable Network Drama Series. Better Call Saul‘s much-anticipated series finale airs tonight on AMC.
Better Call Saul actually cleaned up at the Hca’s, winning Best Actor in a Broadcast or Cable Drama Series for star Bob Odenkirk. Giancarlo Esposito won Best Supporting Actor in a Broadcast or Cable Drama Series, while their co-star, Rhea Seehorn, goes on to win the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Broadcast or Cable Drama Series. It’s a nice way for that show’s run to end, and hopefully the Emmys will take note.

With must-see projects like Dopesick, Recount and Game Change under his belt, Danny Strong knows a thing or two about how to craft the perfect, ripped-from-the-headlines yarn that’s sure to generate Emmy heat. Here, the writer-director-actor gives a five-point masterclass for budding screenwriters.
1 – Lean on the masters
Arthur Miller is one of my writing heroes, along with the films of Sydney Pollack and Sidney Lumet. They are big inspirations for me when I do these kinds of projects that are very intense and powerful, moralistic and about something. The perennial is All the President’s Men. The screenplay by William Goldman is sort of the North Star of powerful, immediate, true-life stories. It’s extremely tense and feels like a thriller without really having those thriller beats. Those four are definitely my biggest influences.

Hajni Kis’ first feature “Wild Roots” (“Külön falka”) was named best feature film at the Hungarian Film Awards. Kis also won best first feature director and best screenplay with Fanni Szántó. Women were awarded in 12 categories at the awards, perhaps heralding the beginning of a new era in Hungarian filmmaking, Film New Europe reports.

At the 1995 Emmy Awards, Christine Baranski and Julianna Margulies both won prizes in supporting categories, Baranski for comedy “Cybill” and Margulies for drama “ER.” Almost 15 years later, the two actresses would partner on the CBS legal series “The Good Wife,” which ran seven seasons and netted both performers an impressive number of nominations by the time the show wrapped in 2016. This year, they might both receive recognition for new roles — Baranski for HBO’s “The Gilded Age” and Margulies for Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show” — and compete in the same category. Some of these launched at prestige fall film festivals (“Downsizing,” “Molly’s Game,” “Hostiles,” “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool”); others are bonafide awards contenders (Steven Spielberg’s “The Post” and Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Phantom Thread”); and some, like Hugh Jackman vanity musical “The Greatest Showman,” will soon skid into either bad reviews or audience reaction, or both.
Herewith, a ranking of the Christmas movies in order of their likely Oscar prospects.
“The Post” (Fox, December 22)
Metascore: 82.
Strengths: Steven Spielberg’s riveting paean to newspaper journalism and freedom of the press couldn’t be more timely. Early reviews are strong for this true story about The Washington Post’s publication of the Pentagon Papers,...

It would be lovely to think that last year’s “Moonlight” Oscar wins presaged a long and permanent shift in Hollywood movie culture. At the heart of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ complex diversity issue is how much the Oscars reflect the way that the Academy likes to view itself. That helps to explain why the Academy voters did far better with their 2017 Oscar nominations than the year before, when their 6,000 members failed to nominate any actors of color at all.
