A somewhat surprising person is allegedly behind Nadya "Octomom" Suleman's decision to check herself into rehab for a Xanax dependency. Michael Lohan is claiming credit for getting the mother of 14 to admit she needed help.
Lohan started up a nonprofit organization in Florida nine months ago that stages interventions for those with substance abuse problems (we wonder which two people could have influenced that decision). When Suleman's manager contacted Lohan with concerns about his client's pill addiction, it was the father of Lindsay Lohan who decided to take action.
"The most important thing is the willingness to realize and surrender to the issue and commit to getting help, which Nadya did!" Lohan tells TMZ, confirming that he was the one who made arrangements for her treatment program. "If it wasn't for her manager Gina, my good friend, Tim Chapman at the Chapman house/Teen savers and Gina's daughter, this would not have been possible.

TMZ has learned. Michael tells us, he's been running a nonprofit organization based in Florida for the last nine months that stages interventions for people in need of substance abuse treatment ... and so far, he's already performed over 25.Sources close to Michael tell us,...

Dog the Lawsuit Hunter Yeah, like I wasn’t going to report on any and all Dog the Bounty Hunter news after the explosion of comments from his official fan club last week that were in no way prompted by Beth Chapman in her website’s chat room. I didn’t have to wait long. Back in May, I reported that Dog was being sued by Boris Krutonog, who helped create and was executive producer on his show, who claimed that Dog and Beth subjected him to abusive, violent conduct and psychotic behavior. Today it was reported that Dog is suing his former publicist for selling stories to the National Enquirer to get back at him for firing her. That publicist’s name? Maureen Krutonog. That’s right—she’s Boris’s wife. I’m sure that’s a coincidence. Meanwhile, Dog’s sons Duane, Jr. and Leland, along with Tim Chapman,...

Dog The nm0338656 autoBounty Hunter[/link] star nm1731740 autoTim Chapman[/link] has been arrested in Hawaii after allegedly performing a lewd act in his truck.
Chapman - who is not related to his reality TV co-star Duane 'Dog' Chapman - was confronted by a security guard from a local shopping mall on Thursday night when he was spotted naked in his vehicle.
According to reports, Chapman began to drive away after putting on some clothes, but lost control of the steering and veered into the sidewalk, almost running into the security guard.
Chapman turned himself into a Hawaiian police station five hours later - but claims he is completely innocent.
His attorney, Brook Hart, says, "It was simply a man who wet his pants with orange juice inadvertently and was changing them, doing nothing wrong at all and believing he had sufficient privacy to do it."
Police are currently investigating the incident to decide whether or not to charge the 42-year-old.

American TV star Duane 'Dog' Chapman has escaped charges relating to a 2003 bounty hunting mission in Mexico. The star of Dog The Bounty Hunter had traveled with two members of his crew, including his son, to Mexico to capture serial rapist Andrew Luster - the heir to the Max Factor cosmetics empire - in Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coast in June. But Chapman fell afoul of the Mexican legal system by embarking on the mission, because bounty hunting is deemed illegal in the Latin American country. Chapman, his son Leland and their colleague Tim Chapman - who is not related to Duane's family - were all briefly detained and charged with deprivation of liberty after their success. After spending two weeks in jail, Chapman jumped bail and fled to the United States. However, his lawyers announced on Thursday a judge has canceled an order for his arrest. Attorney Eduardo Amerena says, "Chapman can now be in Mexico without any problem." Luster is currently serving a 124-year jail term after he was convicted in the U.S. in 2003.
