I’m done.
I’m So done trying to help anyone do anything.
I’m done with the Black Panel, the Bad Boy Studio mentor program, and Dream City my free management company.
Don’t know any of my work? Here.
My disdain started when a rumor damn near became fact. The rumor spreading like a Donald Trump lie was that Milestone stole their business plan from Brotherman. It damn near broke my heart.
But then, the show of support for Milestone was overwhelming!
I could hardly contain my tears of joy so much was the love I felt from the thousands of fans who stood by us. So with all the love shown us why was this the beginning of the end for me?
Because there was no love, the above paragraph was an invention just like the rumor.
Instead of love many, some thought to be friends, jumped...

Eddie Murphy looks set to take the role of Marion Barry in Spike Lees’ development of the biopic of the controversial Washington Mayor. The project is being backed by HBO Films and is to have John Ridley on board for the script writing, he was involved on projects such as Three Kings and Red Tails. This role would see Murphy taking a departure from his usual affable, comic roles and would see him tackling a more demanding and intense role. No word on the direction that the script may take yet but it is reported that it could use the 1994 book “Dream City” written by Washington journalists Harry Jaffe and Tom Sherwood as one of the sources. Marion Barry served as mayor for Washington between 1979and 1991 and the later between 1995 and 1999, a controversial character, he was convicted after being videotaped smoking crack cocaine and served a 6 month jail term. For Murphy,...

He may have stepped away from hosting the Oscars and, even while he was promoting that gig he talked about taking things easier, but it definitely looks like Eddie Murphy’s ready to move on from family-friendly fare. He’s currently attached to a biopic of controversial Washington mayor Marion Barry, which Spike Lee is developing.John Ridley, who wrote Red Tails and has worked on the likes of Three Kings and Steve McQueen’s next film, Twelve Years A Slave, is on script duties for the project, being backed by HBO Films. He’s drawing on several items of source material, including a 1994 book about Barry called Dream City written by Washington journalists Harry Jaffe and Tom Sherwood.Barry served as mayor of the city between 1979 and 1991 and then again between 1995 and 1999, with the two terms broken up by a six-month jail term after he was videotaped smoking crack cocaine.

Spike Lee has been putting together a biopic of Washington DC's former mayor Marion Barry for HBO, and has now brought on Eddie Murphy (Tower Heist) to star in the new film, which is based on the 1994 book "Dream City: Race, Power and the Decline of Washing DC" by Harry Jaffe and Tom Sherwood, and the 2009 documentary "The Nine Lives of Marion Barry." Barry served three straight terms as Mayor of the District of Columbia between 1979 and 1991. Despite being arrested and convicted for crack cocaine use in 1990, Barry ran again and won a fourth term between 1995 and 1999 and, despite no longer being in office, is still referred to with the nickname of DC's "Mayor-for-life." This isn't the first time that HBO tried to the get the project off the ground. Back in 2002, filming was set to begin from a script by Chris Rock and with Jamie Foxx starring as Barry.

Despite his rather tumultuous recent history, Eddie Murphy has more then made his mark on the comedy role. But it looks as if he may be stepping into drama in a new biopic that will focus on the life of former DC mayor Marion Barry. Once a prominent and influential civil rights activist, Barry’s life took a turn when he was convicted on drug charges for smoking crack cocaine. However, since then, he has continued to be an influence in D.C. politics, and serves as a council member even today.
The Washington Post reports that Spike Lee is pegged to direct the film for HBO, joined by writer John Ridley. Lee, Ridley and Murphy will all share in producing the film. Though Lee wishes to draw from several sources, he has reportedly brought on Harry Jaffe and Tom Sherwood, who wrote “Dream City,” a book about 1994 D.C.

In their latest collaboration, director Spike Lee and writer John Ridley have teamed for an HBO biopic of Marion Barry, with Eddie Murphy attached to play the larger-then-life former Washington D.C. mayor. The HBO Films project, first reported by the Washington Post, is currently in development. Ridley is writing the script based on several pieces of source material, including the 1994 book Dream City by D.C. journalists Harry Jaffe and Tom Sherwood who will serve as consultants. Lee on board to direct. The two are executive producing with Murphy. HBO previously developed a Marion Barry biopic a decade ago with Jamie Foxx attached to star and Chris Rock to executive produce, but the project didn’t go forward. Last night's 90210 episode has received mixed reviews.
We enjoyed its use of Mark, Jen and Liam's birth father - new (or returning), shady characters that will hopefully inject some life and drama into a series of lackluster storylines.
Some readers, however, thought "Multiple Choices" was short on suspense and heavy on Liam/Annie interaction. Fans seem wholly against these two getting together.
But there's one thing we can all agree on: the show has a kick ass soundtrack! As our 90210 music section proves, it highlights various artists and singles on a weekly basis. Below, we've listed a few from this week:
Free Energy - "Dream City" Nas - "As We Enter" Anberlin - "A Perfect Tourniquet" Sallie Ford and The Sound Outside - "Not An Animal" The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - "Love Seat"
Remember to get an early look at next week's all-new episode Now!
