Walter V. Marshall is a Telly Award winning, three-time Emmy nominated
cinematographer. With a passion to empower youth and communities, this
emerging director aims to portray inspirational story lines through
captivating cinematography. Having 11 years of experience, which
includes serving as a combat videographer in the US Marine Corp, this
Detroit native's diverse background later led to his graduation from
Full Sail University. From films about marriage and family, to his
newest endeavor capturing rehabilitation efforts to a Detroit school
and neighborhood, his desire to work on projects that progress
community as a whole led him to write his first feature film "A Love
that Hurts." One third of the trio who started Framed By Grace Films
which produced the film, he has used a teenage encounter with legendary
photographer Gordon Parks who told him, "You have a good eye," to be
his motivation to pursue film and further perfect his craft. He and his
wife have one son.
