After a period of intense search and numerous auditions, she was cast for the main female part in "Lady Zee". She is not a professional actress. She lives at the orphanage in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Anelia Gurbova won Best actress for the "Lady Zee" at the XIII International Film Festival "Love is Folly" in Varna town, Bulgaria. For the first time in Bulgarian Cinema's history an non -professional actress won such prise.
