Carrie graduated from American Film Institute in 2006 with a MFA in
Producing. She has produced dozens of acclaimed and award-winning
projects and supervised multiple studio features and network television
shows.
She started her Producing career as Production Supervisor for "Trailer
Park of Terror", a feature film distributed by Summit and as Talent
Producer "Battle of the Bands" for Fuse Network. In July 2007, Carrie
switched departments and became Special Effects Supervisor at Drac
Studios where she supervised the special effects make-up production for
"Watchmen" and many other projects.
Her ability to add production value to projects and her eye for talent
quickly earned her Line Producer credits on several projects including
"Some Boys Don't Leave" starring Jesse Eisenberg, "Murder on the 13th
Floor" for Lifetime, the animated series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Season 8" for FOX, and the cult-favorite "Sushi Girl" starring Mark
Hamill and Tony Todd.
"Detour", a thriller Carrie Produced, was released both in theaters and
VOD on March 30, 2013. Since the film's release she has successfully
Line Produced and Produced four features and is building her production
company in Los Angeles.
When Carrie isn't producing films she enjoys spending time with her
husband Michael Leffler and their dog, Opie.
