The movie will release in theaters and on demand on Dec. 11.

The cast includes Martin Wallström (“Mr. Robot”), Aml Ameen (“I May Destroy You”), Georgia King (“Devs”) and Mark O’Brien (“Ready or Not”).
The movie marks the English-language feature debut for Ezaban, a Mexican director known for “The Incident” and “The Similars.”

Tuesday marked the end of the panels and conferences for SXSW Film. That morning, Garrick Dion, Svp of Development at Bold Films and Katie McNeill, VP of Production at Electric City Entertainment sat on the panel "Making it Happen: Financing an Independent Film." Aaron Kaufman of Troublemaker Studios served as moderator for the panel and also had great insight on the topic.
The main focus of the panel was the role of an independent producer, specifically related to movies with a target budget of $15-20 million. For low-budget films, the information was topical, but did not get into the specifics of selling the project or finding funding. The panel was most useful for someone who is or plans to work with an already established independent producer.
Topics covered included the types of projects to look for, working with first-time directors, and the role of "name" actors and foreign sales on securing funding.

Troublemaker Studio’s Aaron Kaufman hosted a panel titled “Making it Happen: Financing an Independent Film” at SXSW this year, gathering together fellow execs Katie McNeill (V.P. of Production, Electric City Entertainment, the new venture between producers Lynette Howell and Jamie Patricof) and Garrick Dion, Senior Vice President of Development at Bold Films, and a co-producer of Drive (pictured). (Troublemaker, of course, is the production company of Robert Rodriguez.) The three offered thoughts on how to develop and put together projects able to financed in today’s independent film marketplace as well as tips on keeping that development on track. Here are ten takeaways from their talk.
1. Become a juggler. “People think about producing like it’s sequential,” said Kaufman. For example, you develop a script, attach actors, and then go out for financing. “But it’s really about keeping all the plates in the air at once,” he said.

Not to be confused with the superbadass indie flick Evidence we've been talking about recently, another cinéma-vérité style found footage fright flick of the same name is on its way.
Variety is reporting that Olatunde Osunsanmi (The Fourth Kind) has signed to direct the thriller Evidence.
The team behind the upcoming Drive is reuniting to produce Evidence, including Marc Platt who will produce through his eponymous shingle along with David Lancaster and Michel Litvak via the Bold Films banner, and Anthony Rhulen through FilmEngine. Platt's Adam Siegel, Bold's Gary Michael Walters, and FilmEngine's Jake Wagner will exec produce and Bold's Garrick Dion will co-produce.
The flick's story's set with police arriving at an abandoned gas station following a brutal massacre -- with the only evidence at the crime scene the victims' personal electronic devices, including a camcorder, flipcam, and two cell phones. With nothing else to go on, a...

Jay Chandrasekhar of Broken Lizard fame has signed on to direct "Opposites Attract," a comedy from Bold Films.
Written by Dan Ewen, "Opposites" is a body-switching comedy involving a young couple who must "walk a mile in each other's shoes" in order to make their relationship work.
Bold and Chandrasekhar are aiming to do an R-rated take on the body-switching genre while looking at the differences between the sexes.
Although Chandrasekhar helmed such Broken Lizard films as "Super Troopers" and "Beerfest" and tends to work with his comedy troupe, "Opposites" is not a Broken Lizard production.
Bold's Michel Litvak and David Lancaster are producing with Elements Entertainment's Chad Marting and Christopher Pratt. Gary Michael Walters is executive producing, with Garrick Dion co-producing.
The company's Stephanie Denton is handling domestic and international sales.
Bold is in production on Joe Dante's supernatural thriller "The Hole" with Haley Bennett and Teri Polo...

Bold Films is digging "The Hole", picking up the spec script from writer Mark L. Smith.
The story revolves around two brothers who uncover a mysterious never-ending hole in the basement of their new home that appears to be a supernatural portal with the ability to release their worst nightmares.
Bold's Michel Litvak and David Lancaster will produce the supernatural thriller, while Benderspink's JC Spink, Chris Bender and Jake Weiner will executive produce. Gary Michael Walters of Bold is on board to exec produce.
Jon Silk found the script and brought it into Benderspink, where he teamed with Neal Flaherty to submit it to Bold's Jon Oakes and Garrick Dion, who took it into the company. Silk and Flaherty will co-produce.
Bold will finance.
"The script is great fun and a great scare and shows what happens when kids get a little too curious," Walters said.
Bold was behind Emilio Estevez's ensemble drama "Bobby" as well as "Mini's First Time", with Alec Baldwin and Nikki Reed.
