Ganbatte Ikimasshoi (“Give It All”), an upcoming 3Dcg theatrical anime film based on the award-winning 1996 novel by Yoshiko Shikimura, has published a new “special navigation” trailer narrated by movie commentator LiLiCo. The film hits theaters in Japan on October 25, 2024. The original Ganbatte Ikimasshoi novel is published in Japan by Gentosha under their Gentosha Bunko imprint. Yuhei Sakuragi directs the film at Studi Moe and Reirs. Yuhei Sakuragi and Keiichiro Ochi and provide the script, while Asako Nishida provides the character designs. Ganbatte Ikimasshoi has previously been adapted into a live-action film in 1998 and a live-action TV drama in 2005. Original anime Train to the End of the World is chugging along nicely after its broadcast premiere earlier this week. Upcoming original anime series Train to the End of the World has released its third trailer, revealing more visuals about the upcoming post-apocalyptic anime series, as well as a preview of its ending song. As confirmed, the series will premiere in Japan on April 1, 2024, with Crunchyroll streaming the series internationally. A manga adaptation of the anime will start publication on March 25, 2024, a little ahead of the anime’s premiere.
