General Hospital spoilers tease that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) has terrorized Port Charles for decades now. But in recent years, her behavior has become much more lethal than it ever was before.
Coming Up On General Hospital
Heather was always a schemer, but she wasn’t really violent for the most part. There were exceptions of course, such as the time she tried to poison her enemy with LSD.
But even then, she wasn’t successful and ended up ingesting the LSD herself, resulting in her being committed for quite a while. With the exception of that incident, she wasn’t really as much of a threat as she is today.
General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber Become The Hook!
In recent years, Heather has changed. She’s been incarcerated in various mental health facilities, but somehow she managed to find a way to come and go basically as she pleased.

General Hospital spoilers spill Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been concerned about Heather Webber (Alley Mills) since their last exchange before the infamous Hook Killer went into surgery to have her hip replaced — again.
Looking for a way out of the mess she has created for herself, Heather was about to be wheeled into surgery when she asked Laura what would happen to her if she came out of this as her old self — a somewhat innocent woman.
Heather’s push for some kind of promise of relief reminded Laura that she couldn’t really trust this woman and that Heather will always look out for number one. But when she strikes a nerve with Laura that feels all too familiar, will the kind Mayor have no choice but to find it in her heart to forgive Heather — and help her seek freedom from her convictions?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) wanted nothing more to do with Heather Webber (Alley Mills). As viewers know, Heather has been in and out of mental facilities and prisons for the last several years. None of those facilities have been able to hold Heather for long.
She is as smart as she is insane. But recent discoveries have uncovered that Heather may not be completely responsible for some of her worst behaviors, including the murders she committed as the Hook!
General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber Has Cobalt Poisoning!
Heather had a hip replacement years ago although she doesn’t remember exactly when. Apparently, the artificial hip was made of cobalt or had quite a bit of cobalt as one of its components.
As a result, the cobalt has likely been poisoning Heather for years, and could possibly have been directly responsible for many of her criminal actions over the years.

After more than 25 years away, actress Rena Sofer returned to “General Hospital” in October 2023 as Lois Cerullo, but it looks like her time as a contract player in Port Charles has concluded. According to a recent update to the show’s credits, Sofer appears in the recurring section following perennial list leader James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine).
Although Sofer is now on recurring status, there is no official indication that she’s about to exit the series anytime soon, despite saying in a Soap Opera Digest interview that she agreed to return for a short period of time after getting a text message from the show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, who had reached out to see if she’d be interested in reprising the role of Lois so that her character might help Ned (Wally Kurth) with regaining his memory after thinking he was Eddie Maine again.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards during an in-person ceremony, hosted by Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner (whose show won the prize for best entertainment news series), that aired on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
ABC’s General Hospital led with six wins, including for best daytime drama series.
The Kelly Clarkson Show won its second consecutive Daytime Emmy for best daytime talk series, as did Clarkson for best daytime talk series host.

The Super Bowl ended a little more than a week ago, but some TV networks are already making plans to sell NFL football ads for next fall.
“We are seeing a much earlier level of push and interest in getting things done,” says Dan Lovinger, executive vice president of advertising sales for NBC Sports Group, in an interview. Other networks that have football rights suggest they are also eager to sell. A spokeswoman for Disney Advertising Sales says ESPN is seeing “ increased demand” in categories such as fast food, technology, financial services, consumer packaged goods and insurance for both college football and “Monday Night Football.” CBS executives believe NFL games will see “renewed interest” next season, according to a person familiar with the matter. Fox Sports, which will broadcast the Super Bowl in 2020, declined to comment.

Jon Lindstrom has been a veteran of daytime dramas for decades, but he has only ever been nominated for one Emmy over the course of his career: Best Actor in 2010 for “As the World Turns,” where he played Craig Montgomery for two years before that show’s cancellation that same year. He has never even been nominated for his most famous roles: identical twins Kevin Collins and Ryan Chamberlain on “General Hospital.” Could this be the year he finally prevails?
Lindstrom first joined “Gh” in 1992 as Ryan, who was eventually revealed to be a serial killer. After he was found out the show introduced his benevolent twin brother, psychiatrist Kevin, in 1993. Kevin remained on the show even after Ryan was killed off, and then he migrated over to the “Gh” spin-off “Port Charles,” which ran from 1997-2003. Kevin later returned to “Gh” full-time in 2013.

TV Insider reports that “Grey’s Anatomy” star Chandra Wilson will be visiting a different hospital soon. On August 6 she taped a guest appearance on the daytime soap opera “General Hospital.” Could she potentially win an Emmy in daytime after it eluded her in primetime? The Emmys honor guest stars now, so there could be a chance.
Wilson previously guested on “Gh” in 2014 as Tina Estrada, a patient of psychiatrist Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). But this time she’ll play a brand new role: Dr. Linda Massey, who will counsel Stella (Vernee Watson), Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis (Donnell Turner). Counseling will be a change of pace from her “Grey’s” role as Seattle Grace Hospital chief of surgery Miranda Bailey, whom the actress has played since that show premiered in 2005.

1971: Erika Slezak debuted as Victoria Lord on One Life to Live."Whoever wishes to foresee the future must consult the past; for human events ever resemble those of preceding times. This arises from the fact that they are produced by men who ever have been, and ever shall be, animated by the same passions, and thus they necessarily have the same results."

It hits cable VOD later this month and opens in theaters in New York and Los Angeles in April (check howwegotawaywithit.com for details). On top of that, the actor recently got hitched in a hush-hush ceremony to his longtime love Cady McClain — the iconic Dixie on All My Children and soon to be Kelly Andrews on The Young and the Restless. TV Guide Magazine had a gab session with Lindstrom to discuss it all!
