Cinema Pooja Hedge is on a signing spree. Digital NativeActor Pooja Hedge is on cloud nine as she is on a signing spree. The Oka Laila Kosam actor has been bagging offers to share screen space with some of the top stars in the film industry. It has recently been confirmed that she is onboard to play the female lead opposite Prabhas in an upcoming film. To be directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film will be bankrolled by Vamsi Krishna and U Pramod under their banner Uv Creations. Reports are that this film will go on to the floors in June this year and the prep work for it is already underway. In the meantime, Prabhas will be wrapping up his upcoming film Saaho, a magnum opus being directed by Sujeeth. This sci-fi thriller stars Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead with Arun Vijay, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. Pooja Hegde made her acting debut with the Mysskin directorial Mugamoodi and went on to act in Telugu and Hindi movies such as Oka Laila Kosam, Mukunda, Mohenjo Daro and Duvvada Jagannadham. She is currently busy with the Telugu film Saakshyam, which is being directed by Sriwass. The film has Bellamkonda Srinivas playing the lead role with R Sarathkumar, Meena, Jagapati Babu, Vennela Kishore, Ravi Kishan and Ashutosh Rana in the star cast. Shakthi Kanth Karthick is the music director while Arthur A Wilson is the cinematographer and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. TollywoodThe movie is touted to be a romantic thriller, and has two heroines in the lead.Digital NativeBellamkonda Srinivas’ upcoming film went on floors a few days ago with the official puja in the presence of several leading film personalities from the Telugu film industry. The film will be directed by debutant Srinivas, and will be bankrolled by Naveen Sontineni, under the banner of Vasundhara Creations. Among those present at the launch were the Telangana Fdc Chairman Rammohan Rao and the Gurajala constituency Mla, Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao. Ace director Vv Vinayak clapped the first shot on the day of the muhurat. The film, which does not yet have a title, is said to be a romantic thriller with two heroines in the lead. According to reports, the heroines have not been finalized and the team is working on signing up two leading ladies soon. With the official pooja done, the shooting should commence on March 2, 2018, say sources close to the team. The technical crew of the film includes Chota K Naidu for cinematography. He is teaming up with Bellamkonda for the second time after Alludu Seenu. Deccan Chronicle reported Bellamkonda saying, “I liked the story that Sreenivas narrated to me and found it unique, so I decided to do it. I am sure that this film will not only do good to my career, but it will also be a path-breaking film in Telugu.” Boasting of an interesting script, Bellamkonda is sure that he will score a grand success at the box office. The hero, son of popular producer Bellamkonda Suresh, made his acting debut with Alludu Seenu, which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He then went on act in Speedunnodu, Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Saakshyam. His last release Saakshyam was directed by Sriwass and starred Pooja Hegde as the heroine. R. Sarathkumar and Meena played pivotal roles in this flick.
