Adriana Rotaru is a Romanian-American independent film producer, screenwriter, and director.
In 2005 she began a long-term collaboration with legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola and American Zoetrope. Producing notable productions worldwide, Adriana has been privileged to work with top-tier talent and crew who have become lifelong collaborators.
Her films "Emily the Criminal" (2022) and "Fairyland" (2023) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. "Emily the Criminal" was nominated for four Spirit Awards, and won in the Best First Screenplay category.
With a degree in Finance and an MFA in Directing from UCLA, Adriana is committed to developing original projects for theater, film, and television.
