Kaiju No. 8, one of the most anticipated anime series of 2024 announced during the Jump Festa 24 that the anime will be streaming in April 2024. Along with the release, the anime also unveiled the trailer of the anime series. It was first disclosed that the anime would only be available for streaming on Crunchyroll, following its announcement at New York Comic Con earlier this year.

The Jump Festa announcement also mentioned that X/Twitter will be providing free simulcasting of the anime. In other words, an anime will be made officially accessible to watch on a social media site for the first time. President Trump’s former communications director Anthony Scaramucci appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night, where he dished on all things Trump administration.
“The Mooch from Long Island would say there was no love lost there,” Scaramucci told host Stephen Colbert about his relationship with Reince Priebus, who was replaced by John Kelly as White House chief of staff in late July.
Colbert also pressed Scaramucci about his opinions regarding who could be leaking information from the White House, even calling Trump’s chief strategist.
“Is Steve Bannon the leaker?” the late-night emcee asked before Scaramucci responded: “I said he was.

Stephen Colbert bid farewell to Anthony "The Mooch" Scaramucci with a parody of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" on The Late Show Monday.
The host dedicated most of his opening monologue to the former White House Communications Director, who was relieved of his post after just 10 days. "Yes, the Mooch is toast," Colbert joked. "The front stabber has been back stabbed. He said he was going to fire everybody, and I gotta admit he delivered – that is thorough."
While Colbert showed some sympathy for the Mooch, he cracked, "It's been harder on me – the Colbooch!

Gregg “Opie” Hughes has remained mostly mum on the subject of his sudden ousting from SiriusXM, but now he’s got a message for fans. And it’s about vagina — specifically, your mom’s. “There is one thing I wasn’t able to do on my final show on SiriusXM, so here ya go,” Hughes said in a video posted to YouTube on Friday. Opie then panned to a message he carved into the sand: “Your Mom’S Box.” Also Read: Gregg 'Opie' Hughes Fired by SiriusXM, 3 Years After Former Partner Anthony Cumia Was Let Go That probably seems bizarre to some — and surely gross.

Kevin Pollak's documentary "Misery Loves Comedy" has a cute pun of a title that also draws attention to the film's primary flaw. Had Pollak just called his first directing foray "My Friends Talk About Comedy" or "White Comedians Love Misery," I probably could have just felt that this was one person polling a bunch of chums on a subject of mutual interest and accepted its limitations. But "Misery Loves Comedy" spends its entire runtime on a series of talking-head interviews with various comedians and on grand pronouncement after another, different variably famous stand-ups keep saying what "comedians" are like and what "comedy" is about. And given the composition of Pollak's panel of experts, I'm afraid that's ludicrous. With dozens of comics participating, the total number of African-American comics featured in the entire documentary? One. Whoopi Goldberg is brought in to summarize one Richard Pryor routine. She does that and nothing more.

Barkley, who has never shied away from giving his opinion on anything, was asked what he thought about this.

Opie & Anthony co-host Anthony Cumia (right) has been fired by SiriusXM after a rant on Twitter that featured ‘racially charged’ postings about a woman who allegedly attacked him.

Cumia claimed on Tuesday that a woman had punched in the face in New York’s Times Square. He alleged that she became irate when she realized he was in a picture he was taking of the Manhattan landmark, called him a “white mother f—ker” and went on to punch him.
In his retelling of events over social media, he called the woman a “pig face worthless meat sack,” adding, “This was an animal. I shoulda smashed it's face [sic]."
"She's lucky I was a white legal gun owner or she'd be dead," Cumia continued. "Then 5 blacks started giving me s--t!"
After his series of tweets, the shockjock was confronted on Twitter. In response to the backlash, Cumia was indignant.

I would like to start this off by emphasizing just how fortunate I am to be writing about the artistic tour de force that is “Louie”. I can honestly say that Louis C.K.’s comedy, as well as his appearances on “The Opie and Anthony Show”, have changed the way I look at life. Admittedly, it took me a little while to fully warm up to his FX television series, but once I did, I realized that no other show in the past ten years has come close to being as ground-breaking, innovative, and consistently outstanding as this.
I’m interested to hear what you guys think of “Louie”, so be sure to leave your comments below!

On Wednesday's episode of "Opie & Anthony," frequent guest Louis C.K. stopped by to talk about, among other things, his recent hosting stint on "Saturday Night Live." But he also made a few quick mentions of something that many devastated by Hurricane Sandy were hoping for: A benefit show with the proceeds going to those affected by the storm.
The benefit was confirmed by Si Live, which serves the badly damaged Staten Island area. Although Louie said that he will make a more formal announcement on his website soon, he currently plans to do two shows at the St. George Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 17.
Louis indicated on the radio show that he wanted to sell tickets for $90, which would actually purchase two tickets, with one going to a Staten Islander. But it appears that the current plan is a bit more complicated. According to Si Live:
250 first-tier tickets will be auctioned to the highest bidders,...

"Science does not have two sides." Standing with her son Sean Lennon, artist and activist Yoko Ono made a passionate appeal to logic while officially launching the pair's group, Artists Against Fracking, in New York on Aug. 29.
Ono and Lennon, who previously introduced their organization on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," have recruited over 180 musicians, artists and filmmakers to the coalition.
The two urged the public at the New York event to take a stand against fracking -- a controversial method for extracting natural gas -- and to call on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) to reject the practice.
The debate over hydraulic fracturing is centered in several ways on the New York area, from proposals for natural gas development in the state and ongoing fracking in neighboring Pennsylvania to increasingly outspoken activism against the practice from New York-based artists. Yet, Ono and Lennon's group is not relying solely...

The other night my friend and I were discussing the nature of comedy after watching Louie and he mentioned how for him the element of surprise is crucial to the funniest bits he’s seen. Each of the stories in “Barney/Never” prominently used what can be considered elements of surprise as catalysts for the stories’ climaxes. Part of what distinguishes these moments in “Barney/Never” from mere shock comedy though are the worlds of context which are built around these moments giving them emotional weight and personal resonance. Well, for the most part anyway.
In the case of the “Barney” segment, that gravity was evident from the very first scene which was a departure from the usual opening credits of Louie emerging from the subway and getting a slice of pizza before descending into the Comedy Cellar during Ian Lloyd’s rendition of Hot Chocolate...

The death of a major character, whether they’re a series regular or just recurring, can be exactly what a struggling show needs to inject a tone it otherwise was lacking. In Falling Skies’ case, Jimmy’s untimely demise in “Compass” serves the purpose of finally giving a good sense of the stakes in this post-alien invasion world. People have died before, been kidnapped, and seriously injured, but saying goodbye to Jimmy was a heavier weight for the show to bear. In essence, Jimmy was a symbol of the world gone wrong. Here we have a boy who only a year ago was as innocent as any child should be at his age. But because of the invasion, he had to grow up fast, learn to be a soldier, and fight for his freedom alongside his fellow resistance members. He was brave, well liked, an important member of the 2nd Mass.

Jennifer Lopez has sunglasses on at night. Boyfriend Casper Smart is also wearing shades … because he’s a diva in training? Because you can only date J.Lo if you support her sartorial choices? Because he’s cool by association now? Whatever the reasons are, the sexy twosome made their way to Cipriani’s in New York after Jennifer made an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, where she responded to questions about her ex, Marc Anthony, Fyi.
When asked what it was like working with Anthony on their show, Q’Viva! The Chosen, she said, “You know, its fun because we know each other so well, but it has its moments. The same things that … didn’t really work sometimes come up. You’re talking and you don’t agree on something and you’re like ‘Oh, be quiet!’ … You’ll see it on the show a little bit!

As much as everyone adores the Back to the Future trilogy, it rates pretty high on the unintentional comedy scale. There are flubs, over the top performances and awkward lines of dialogue across all three films making them great to watch with a bunch of friends. This weekend, a special live Ustream broadcast will let you do just that. It's called the Secret Show to the Future 2 and it happens at 10 p.m. Est November 5. In 2008, several members of the Sirius Xm's Opie and Anthony show did the first Secret Show to the Future, where they watched Robert Zemeckis' 1985 film complete with live comedy commentary in the tradition of Mystery Science Theater 3000. This Saturday brings the sequel. Anthony Cumia of the O&A Show, producer Danny Ross and comedian Joe DeRosa, all huge fans of the films, will watch Back to the Future Part II live and provide...

James Bond star Daniel Craig proved he is a real-life sharpshooter during a trip to a gun club in the U.S.
The 007 actor fired shots from a sniper rifle and the superspy's trademark Walther Ppk pistol after heading to a range in Long Island, New York with his pal Anthony Cumia.
Cumia tells Britain's The Sun newspaper he allowed Craig to use his personal weapons for some target practice, and was impressed with the actor's shooting skills.
He says, "Daniel is an excellent shot. He got about 95 per cent accuracy. We spent the entire day there. He wanted to brush up on his shooting. I packed almost my entire arsenal - and made sure I had my PPK. When he fired it, that was about as close to Bond talk as we got."...
