[Note: With the film finally arriving in the UK, here's a reposting of my review of superb British horror Ghosts of Darkness, now retitled House of Ghosts for the DVD release]
Two paranormal investigators are unexpectedly thrown together in the hope of solving a 100-year mystery. Locked for three nights in a house with a dark and unsettling past, the two investigators must put their differences to one side and work together. They soon discover the myths and stories are nothing compared to what actually resides within the eerie walls of Richwood Manor. Scepticism and showmanship are soon put to one side when the two investigators realise there is more at stake than just their professional reputation. For once they have stumbled onto the real thing, but this time it’s their own lives at stake…

The Redwood Massacre is a slasher film from Scotland. This indie title is also from production company Clear Focus Movies Ltd and director David Ryan Keith (Attack of the Herbals). Recently, a trailer was released for the film and the killer looks particularly fearsome, in the clip. The Redwood Massacre stars Lisa Cameron (My Brother's Keeper), Mark Wood, Lisa Livingstone and Rebecca Wilkie. The film's story is slightly conventional, though. Several friends set out for the local highlands, only to find a mysterious figure hiding in the bushes. Their campground is the site of a brutal series of murders and these murders will be recreated by a roaming madman. Camping has never been this bloody! The trailer for The Redwood Massacre develops the story and the legend a little more. Then, the killer is introduced, before the blood flies. Fans of indie slashers are invited to take a closer look at the film below.
