- SHIN HAN-SOL A director who understands the importance of pacing
Always bringing new subject matter to his audience, director SHIN Han-sol's latest film deals with world's first ever insult battle. His 2006 debut feature THE ART OF FIGHTING gained wide attention for BAEK Yoon-sik/Jae-hee on-screen duo, and for realistic portrayal of hand to hand fights on the big screen. He followed that up with period comedy A TALE OF LEGENDARY LIBIDO, which as the title suggests deals with a man who was given the power of infinite libido. The film was widely well-regarded by the male demographic and was celebrated for bringing the legend of Byun Kang shui to the 21st century. Director SHIN is back after 7 years of absence to bring you GRANNY'S GOT TALENT. Bringing some of the most talented actors and actresses working in Korean cinema, he'll move his audience to tears, and have them burst out laughing at the same time.

AWARD 2001 Busan Asia Film Festival - Best Picture (A GOAT'S LOVER)- IMDb Mini Biography By: koreanfilm committee - Yonsei Unversity graduate SHIN Han-sol kicked off his directing career in the late 1990s with the shorts 'Oyster' (1999), 'In the Late Summer' (1999) and subsequently 'A Goat's Lover' (2001). His feature film debut came in 2006, with the comedy-drama 'The Art of Fighting', a modest success which featured BAEK Yoonshik as a curmudgeonly fighting mentor for a teenage boy. SHIN followed that up two years later with the high concept, period set sex comedy 'A Tale of Legendary Libido', a vehicle for funny man BONG Taegu. Following that film's poor showing, SHIN next served as a screenwriter for the 2011 smash hit 'Clash of the Families', a Romeo and Juliet-inspired comedy featuring SONG Sebyek and LEE Si-young, not to mention past and future SHIN collaborators KIM Su-mi. With that successful credit under his belt, SHIN returned to the director's chair for 2015's 'Granny's Got Talent', a comedy featuring veteran star KIM Su-mi as a grandmother who becomes involved in a television swearing contest following her release from jail.- IMDb Mini Biography By: koreanfilm committee
