Tumble has been dropped by BBC One.
The celebrity gymnastics competition - which was hosted by Alex Jones - will not return for a second series, the BBC confirmed to Digital Spy today.
"Whilst we are proud of Tumble and very grateful to everyone involved, we sometimes have to take difficult decisions in order to make room for new shows," a spokesperson said.
A BBC source also insisted that Jones is "very important" to the channel.
Tumble picked up an average of 3.3m across its six episodes, which aired in August and September this year.
Stars including H from Steps, Sarah Harding, Amelle Berrabah, John Partridge and Lucy Mecklenburgh took part in the competition, which was won by Bobby Lockwood.

Bobby Lockwood won 'Tumble' last night (13.09.14). The 'Wolfblood' actor was crowned champion of the BBC gymnastics competition after he battled Ian 'H' Watkins, Carl Froch, Amelle Berrabah, Sarah Harding and Lucy Mecklenburgh in the final. Speaking to host Alex Jones after his victory, Bobby said: ''After the week we have had we didn't even know if we would be able to perform so to actually win is mental.'' Bobby Lockwood has been crowned the winner of Tumble.
The BBC One gymnastics competition drew to a close this evening (September 13) as Lockwood battled H, Carl Froch, Amelle Berrabah, Sarah Harding and Lucy Mecklenburgh for the title.
The final saw each of the six compete in a combined floor and double trapeze routine, as well as taking on The Vault.
H led the leaderboard after receiving a full 40 points for his superhero-themed floor routine. Girls Aloud star Harding was awarded an impressive 38 points, receiving strong comments for her highest-scored performance of the series. The pair were joined by actor Lockwood in the top three.
The winner was decided purely by viewer votes, as the judges' scores had no effect on the final result. Once each celebrity had completed The Vault, head judge Nadia Comăneci chose Froch's "different" approach as her favourite.

Tumble: BBC One, 6pm
It's the grand final of the BBC gymnastics contest, and the remaining contestants will be pulling out all the stops to impress the judges.
Sarah Harding, Amelle Berrabah and H from Steps are all among the finalists - will it be a popstar that takes the crown? Or will Bobby Lockwood, Carl Froch and Lucy Mecklenburgh have something to say about that?
Doctor Who: BBC One, 7.30pm
The eighth series of the sci-fi drama has had its fair share of dark moments, but in tonight's Steven Moffat-penned instalment, the scares are unleashed good and proper.
As The Doctor and Clara encounter ghosts from their past and futures, something frightens the lone Time Lord like nothing before. Watch with the lights on. And listen.

Peter Duncan has failed to make it through to the Tumble final next week.
The seven remaining celebrities competed in tonight's semi-final, in which they each took on the beam and performed a routine with their professional partner.
Actor Bobby Lockwood topped the judges' scoreboard with an impressive 68.5 out of 80. However, for the first time viewers were given the opportunity to vote, with the judges only accounting for 50% of the total.
Carl Froch and Duncan finished bottom of the combined scoreboard, leaving them to face head judge Nadia Comăneci in The Vault.
The Olympic champion saved Froch, praising his "more difficult" vault, "great execution" and "perfect" landing.
Speaking to host Alex Jones, former Blue Peter presenter Duncan said he'd had "such a great time" on the series.
Froch and Lockwood will compete against H, Amelle Berrabah, Sarah Harding and Lucy Mecklenburgh in the grand final.

Tumble stars Amelle Berrabah and Sarah Harding have given fans a brief glimpse of their daring outfits for tonight's show (August 30).
In an attempt to avoid the same fate as last week's eliminated contestant Emma Samms, the duo will attempt to impress judges with their routines and costumes.
"In a bid to impress with their moves, the ex-Sugababe and Girls Aloud stars are baring the flesh in the hope their sexy costumes this week will leave a lasting impression on the Tumble judges," a source told Digital Spy.
"Sarah will be striking a pose as she embodies a flamboyant disco diva complete with her own Glitter ball for her rhythmic floor routine, and Amelle will be shining bright for her sky-themed trampoline routine."

Oh dear. Who couldn't help but cringe - and laugh - when they saw that infamous Vine of Amelle Berrabah completely failing at her hands-free aerial cartwheel on Tumble last week? Well, it turns out that even Amelle had a giggle. She chatted the other day about recovering from her mishap, all that touching of private areas, worrying about a boob-based wardrobe malfunction, what's happening with Lucy and Louis, and much, much more, so read on for all the gossip...
That Vine of your cartwheel went kind of viral...
"I know, can you believe that? It's so embarrassing. But you've got to laugh as well - even the person who put it on Vine, I could hear them laughing when it happened! When I watched it I couldn't stop laughing either, it was just how it was. I was so serious and trying to look sexy and then just go flying!

Amelle Berrabah took Tumble quite literally on the BBC One gymnastics show this evening (August 23).
The Sugababes star suffered the mishap while attempting a hands-free aerial cartwheel, which resulted in low scores from the judges.
A Vine of the mistake has already become an online social media hit.
Despite having to reflect the error in their scores, the judges did praise the singer for attempting the move and for carrying on with the difficult routine.
Admitting that she was "disappointed", Berrabah promised that she would not give up on mastering the move, adding: "I'll do it next time!"
Having scored 24 out of 30, she finished second last, taking on Dynasty actress Emma Samms in The Vault.
Samms became the second to exit the series, leaving eight famous faces to battle it out again next week.

Emma Samms has become the second celebrity to leave Tumble.
The Dynasty star lost out to singer Amelle Berrabah after taking on The Vault, in the third episode of BBC One's gymnastics competition.
Head coach Nadia Comăneci made the decision, explaining that she had chosen to save Berrabah for her "more difficult vault".
Both women found themselves competing against each other after finishing bottom on the leaderboard, having failed to impress the judges with their respective routines.
Speaking to host Alex Jones, Samms said that she had had an "absolutely fantastic" time on the series, admitting that she was now in "better shape".
Actors Bobby Lockwood and John Partridge lead the judges' scoreboard, with the former achieving a series high of 32.5.
Tonight's episode also featured a set from girl group The Saturdays, who performed a medley of their hit singles.

Amelle Berrabah has been injured while training for BBC's Tumble.
The Sugababes star had just completed a move when she dislocated her ankle, causing permanent injury, reports The Daily Star.
Berrabah said: "I was celebrating landing a move and my ankle popped out and I just fell to the floor. It's happened since and I've had it strapped up.
"It's much bigger than the other ankle now and it's going to stay that way. I'm disfigured for the rest of my life."
The singer will remain on the BBC gymnastics show and is seeing a physio to help with the "exhausting" training schedule.
"Training is very gruelling," she said. "I'm seeing the physio twice a week.
"It's physically exhausting and a test of your mind as well."
Fellow Tumble celebrity Mr Motivator was forced to leave the competition earlier this week (July 28), after dislocating his knee during a trial run of the programme.

If we had to go on a celebrity reality show, we have to say that BBC One's new gymnastics extravaganza Tumble sounds like the least threatening. Tumbling is what kittens do! It's all soft and lovely.
Well, some news has come in that has forced us to think again. Because H from Steps is in training, and he can't stop sharing some pretty gruesome injuries.
First, he tweeted this horrifying image of his bruised legs, adding: "These are bruises from training today!!!! ( excuse the angle!!! ) #ouch #tumble"
Sorry, H, but we don't think we can ever excuse that angle. We're still trying to figure out exactly what's going on there.
Next, we were 'treated' to a picture of a gash on H's hand. Admittedly, this is only really a slight graze, but it's certainly more of H than we ever wanted to see. Still, at least H was taking it all in his stride,...
