The body count continues to pile up on The 100.
The 100 Season 7 Episode 14, which aired Wednesday on The CW, featured another tragic death.
"A Sort of Homecoming" found Clarke, Gabriel, Madi, and the others arriving on Earth as they tried to find shelter in the bunker.
Unfortunately, Sheidheda arrived, with the aim of taking down Madi. J.R. Bourne's alter ego had one of the suits from Bardo on, so he was invisible.
While Gabriel taught Madi how to play the piano, he was mortally wounded by Sheidheda.
He managed to get back up and fight off Sheidheda, providing enough time for Madi to break free and find Gaia and Indra for assistance.
Unfortunately, it was game over for Chuku Modu's Gabriel, who succumbed to his injuries.
It was a powerful goodbye, with Gabrielle claiming he was ready to leave his life behind, and given that he's been around for hundreds of years,...

There is magic in getting to explore a character with bursting potential. The 100 knows that better than anyone, with newcomer Gabriel Santiago proving his power this season alone.
The 100 Season 7 may be the final one for the show, but it doesn't feel like it in many ways.
This season doesn't feel like a proper goodbye to what fans have come to know and love after all this time. There are many questions about the screentime choices, and how the lead characters don't seem to exist right now.
There were many requests for the final season, yet most of what's happening is a surprise for the audience.
But then there is Gabriel Santiago, swooping in to maybe not solve all the problems but at least alleviating some of them, just by existing.
With Chuku Modu continuing to make Gabriel a scene-stealing presence on the show, it isn't shocking that his increased role was so well received.

Consider this a preview of the upcoming season of The 100 or maybe just a fun Valentine's Day themed conversation. Regardless of the inspiration, Gabriel Santiago is a precious human who has been through enough and now deserves nothing but love.
Luckily, with Chuku Modu being upgraded to series regular, there is suddenly more time to make sure he gets exactly that.
But his love doesn't have to be romantic. Gabriel can branch out into new friendships and partnerships along the way. Time might be limited. but there is nothing but time to go through all the possible adventures that Gabriel should get to explore during The 100 Season 7.
There is nothing but possibilities ahead for our favorite cardigan-wearing Sanctum treasure. Here is a thorough list to highlight the choices.
Bellamy + Clarke + Gabriel
Why choose when you don't actually have to?
All of the talk of Bellamy and Clarke vs.

There's a reason Gabriel Santiago arrived and stole our hearts in the process, and only a little of that came from how mysterious he turned out to be.
One of the biggest highlights of The 100 Season 6 was getting to meet exciting new characters, and Chuku Modu managed to make both of his characters stand out individually. It was all in the way that Xavier and Gabriel kept us intrigued, while not knowing what to expect next from him.
Now that Chuku Modu got a very well deserved upgrade to series regular, it only seems fair to highlight some of his greatest hits before we prepare for more on The 100 Season 7.
Gabriel Introducing His Ex-Girlfriend To New Friends
It is not always easy to introduce your new friends to your ex-girlfriend, especially when there were years of body-snatching between them. But Gabriel handled it like a pro, giving us equal feelings...

The 100 Season 6 came with plenty of surprises when it came to Sanctum, but it was characters like Gabriel Santiago that really made the story as interesting as it became along the way.
So it was a wonderful and pleasant surprise that these new faces get to stick around, going into Season 7 with as much intrigue as when they got introduced.
At the heart of that transition is Gabriel Santiago, played by the extremely talented Chuku Modu, and his journey to continue to do better in a world that is destined to throw obstacles in his way.
Chuku Modu took the audience by surprise, first taking on the role of the mysterious but intense Xavier when he came across Octavia and Diyoza in the Sanctum woods.
That quickly became the well-executed revelation that Xavier is actually the iconic Gabriel, the person behind much of Sanctum's destructive ways, and teasing the potential...
