[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Walker‘s Season 3 finale, “It’s a Nice Day for a Ranger Wedding.” So if you haven’t watched yet, maybe re-examine your life choices.] Dearly beloved, we are gathered here together to celebrate this thing called Walker. Because not only was the show renewed two days ago, but it also wrapped up Season 3 with a big ol’ wedding and a ton of loose ends that will be requiring attention. Such as a possible serial killer coming for our heroes — including tonight’s happy groom Captain James (Coby Bell) — and the ongoing weirdness between clearly crushing Rangers Trey (Jeff Pierre) and Cassie (Ashley Reyes), who stunned pretty much all of Austin by slaying a wedding duet with Cap’s bride, Kelly (Kearran Giovanni). Rebecca Brenneman/The CW And speaking of stunning, there was also a bonkers twist that saw Cordi’s daughter Stella (Violet Brinson) seemingly blow away that kid...

Walker fans can breathe a sigh of relief. The CW has ended the suspense and officially renewed the drama starring Jared Padalecki for a 13-episode fourth season.
The renewal news was delivered just two days prior to the season three finale. The third season wraps up on May 11, 2023 with episode 18, “It’s a Nice Day for a Ranger Wedding.”
According to The CW, Walker season three is the network’s most-watched linear show in total viewers. Still, given the current climate, a renewal order wasn’t a sure thing even with impressive ratings.
“Over the past three seasons, Walker has become the top performing series on The CW with a passionate fanbase and a fantastic cast and creative team led by Jared Padalecki, who has now been a...

The CW’s Walker season two ended on a cliffhanger that found Cordell kidnapped and tied up in the back of a van. Season three episode one, “World on a String,” begins right after the events of season two’s finale, with everyone hustling to get Cord back safe and sound.
Season three episode one airs on October 6, 2022, and in a recent interview with TVLine, series star and executive producer Jared Padalecki confirmed we’ll find out what’s going on fairly quickly. “Certainly in the season three premiere, we’ll get a glimpse of just how much trouble Cord is in, if there’s any way for him to get out or if he’s gonna need help…and how help would even get to him or find him.”
In addition to Jared Padalecki as Cordell Walker, the season three cast includes Coby Bell as Captain Larry James, Ashley Reyes as Cassie Perez,...

Jared Padalecki‘s hit reboot Walker could be sauntering way into the past — and creating a new franchise for The CW — if a prequel drama in the pipeline gets the greenlight. Period piece Walker: Independence is currently in development at the network, with a teleplay by showrunner Anna Fricke and series writer Seamus Fahey. Padalecki is attached as an executive producer and is clearly excited about their plan to expand the Walker world. “There is so much space [for story],” he says. “So kudos to Anna and Seamus and the gang for coming up with this awesome idea.” Rebecca Brenneman/The CW Now in its second season, Walker is currently playing out the Texas-sized ranch rivalry between his Cordell Walker’s family and the well-connected Davidsons. Walker: Independence, Padalecki, explains, would mine that feud at its origin. “With the prequel, we [see] how the Walkers became the Walkers, how the Davidsons became the Davidsons,...

Oooh, it is heating up down in Austin. Season 2 of Walker is set to introduce the Davidsons, a Texas family that’s had a long-running rivalry with the Walkers dating back to the 1800s. And they are gonna cause trouble for Cordi (Jared Padalecki) in more ways than one. “They are basically building their way back up,” explains showrunner Anna Fricke, of the brood headed up by matriarch Gail (Paula Marshall). “They’ve been gone from Austin for a long time because they lost the ranch and so they’re coming back and sort of rebuilding the family and trying to take their name and their legacy back.” Rebecca Brenneman/The CW And this won’t be beef that plays out just amongst the adults, who also include Amara Zaragoza as Gail’s daughter Denice and Odette Annable‘s hubby Dave Annable as son-in-law Dan. TV Insider can confirm that...
