Britain's Prince Charles enjoyed a taste of traditional English ale after meeting a pub worker. The Prince of Wales was greeted by hundreds of well-wishers as he arrived in Ludlow, Shropshire, West Midlands, yesterday (17.09.12), one of these being 71-year-old cellerman Mike Sergeant, who offered the prince a sample of half-pint golden bitter. Mr. Sergeant works with ales at Ludlow's historic Church Inn and provided a glass of locally-brewed Ludlow Gold as the royal approached nearby St Laurence's Church.
